Ypperlig hotell med god beliggenhet uansett formål

Posted Aug 27, 2015
Pros: Standard, service, beliggenhet.
Cons: Utmerket frokost, men dyr!
Location: God beliggenhet med gangavstand til kjente steder og kort avstand til kommunikasjoner. Gode spisesteder/barer i umiddelbar nærhet
Vi har vært i Paris en rekke ganger - men første gang på Hotel Pont Royal. Vi kommer igjen. Beste hotell vi har bodd på i Paris.

Great location, nice rooms, excellent service

Posted Aug 26, 2015
Pros: The location, the room, excellent service
Cons: No fault to find
Location: Near the Musee d"Orsay, not far from the Pompidou Center. A short walk to the Eiffel Tower and just across the bridge from the Rue du Rivoli
This was the second time my husband and I stayed at this hotel. We will probably always stay there when we're in Paris for a few days. The location is perfect -- the 7th arrondissement, a short walk from the Seine, from the Musee d'Orsay, and from some wonderful restaurants. We always went out for a full breakfast down the Rue du Bac where there are a few cafes, and walked easily to some delicious restaurants for dinner. (I highly recommend Le Christine in the 6th arrondissement-- a 12 minute walk. A fairly big grocery store with good fresh fruit is right across the street. The service was very friendly and helpful. Staff were eager to please and would go out of their way to make us comfortable. The room was reasonably spacious for a French hotel and efficiently designed so there was enough shelf space to place everything. Hotel Pont Royal is a charming hotel that met all of our needs.

Friendly and helpful staff, close to attractions

Posted Aug 14, 2015
Lovely welcoming hotel, room was very clean and comfortable! I liked the Fragonard toiletries given to use. It was easy to walk to most places, really close to the Musee D"Orsay and the Louvre; St Germain is a lovely area to explore. The only downside is that breakfast is not included its 25 euros more each, and the bar is crazily expensive charging 9 euros for a coke! Also the restaurant is very upmarket and again very expensive! Great location though with many rmgiid restaurants close by! Le Fregate is a fab place to eat with a great view of the Seine, just 5 minute walk away next to Musee Dorsay, not too expensive (the hotel staff recommended it).

Nice hotel close to all tourist attractions

Posted Aug 10, 2015
We stayed for a long weekend. The hotel is close and within a walkable distance of all main tourist sights. There is a very nice bakery near by, across the road from a shoplift perfect location.

観光地へのアクセスがとても便利で助かりました。コンシェルジュが優しくて何でも教えてくれましたね〜。素敵なまちの真ん中にあるので、宿泊するだけでも観光しているように思ってしまいました。

A little off the beaten path, but not far

Posted Aug 5, 2015
We picked this hotel because it was on the Left Bank (an absolute necessity), and very close to the D'Orsay and L'Orangerie. Not too convenient to the Metro, but within ten minute walk to Place St. Germaine (center of activity). Plenty of close shopping though and close to exceptionally good restaurants. One recommended by our concierge was our best meal in Paris and two minute walk from the hotel. I would be able to get there again with no trouble, but can't remember the name (sorry!).

Close to historical sight and big bus tour station

Posted Jul 31, 2015
Cons: Was charged extra for some kind of tax, which was a surprise ~ EURO 7 per day
It was a pleasant stay. Can walk to good restaurants around the outskirts of downtown.

Nice central location

Posted Jul 24, 2015
Pros: Our view from our room was fantastic. The room itself was nice and the cleanliness was fantastic. Turn down service at night.....
Cons: The hotel just seemed dark. I don't know what you can do with that. I also thought the Robichon' restaurant attached to it seemed a little "uptight"
My first time in Paris, and while on the internet, the hotel seemed great, it seemed a little dark to me when we were actually there. The staff was attentive but not overly upbeat. That may just be Paris. Our view from the room was fantastic with the Louvre and the Ferris Wheel to the east and the Eiffel Tower to the west. Overall, if I go back to Paris, I would not go back to this hotel.

Great hotel! We liked everything about it. Comfortable, spotless, attractive. Near subway stop. Across from grocery.
