Hotel location is not one of Paris smartest area.

It is hard to see why this hotel has a four-star rating. It has a large and comfortable lounge and bar. The staff are helpful and they do speak English. However, the rest of it is no more than barely adequate. Poor lightings in the corridors between the rooms, lifts and stairs. The breakfast room is a passageway in the cellar, and becomes congested at times.
The bedroom furniture is of heavy steel construction with ill-fitting drawers(painted matt black) more akin to an industrial workshop than a bedroom. The hotel had run out of hand towels on our first two days stay. We had to ask for replenishment of bath gel etc on a couple of occasions and even for the removal of empty bottles.
Overall it was disappointing.
