Good central location to reach all the main areas

Posted Oct 23, 2016
Friendly, helpful staff and a warm welcome. Clean and very decent hotel at a very reasonable price. Comfortable pleasant room. The hotel is situated on a quiet side street but very close to the metro and many restaurants and amenities. Many areas of the city are easily walkable from this location. A good trip and thank you Hotel Taylor

A relatively inexpensive hotel that was very fine.

Posted Oct 3, 2016
Cons: Would have been nice to have a computer guests could use. They say they are going to install one when their renovations in the lobby are complete.
Location: Convenient location for the Marais and St. Martin Canal. However, the location on a little side street with little foot traffic seemed unsafe.
Very clean, quiet and pleasant. Helpful and friendly staff. I liked the hotel very much and as a single person felt very safe.

Great room and great location!!

Posted Jun 4, 2016
Pros: Room and staff were great!!! Great location.
Location: La Dispensa restaurant located on same street was delicious. Metro 5 min walk. Laundromat around corner.
Hotel lobby under construction & you wouldn't expect from looking at stairs or hallway but room was great!! Looked newly renovated, spacious, clean, beds very comfortable, and nice amenities like coffee, tea, and pound cakes in room. Staff was very helpful with restaurant recommendations. La Dispensa on the same street as hotel was delicious!!! Hotel 5 minute walk to Republique metro station.

Cons: more than one person available at checkout
Location: close to the place de republique and the canal st. martin; easy walk to the Marais and all the museums there
well located, friendly and helpful staff, rooms are small but more than adequate.

Convenient location

Posted Jan 29, 2016
Pros: Cozy, friendly hotel. Staff very keen on hospitality.
Cons: Nothing
Location: Plethora of eateries, bars, and cafés all within waling distance of the hotel.
The location is excellent, mid-stream between Gare du Nord/Gare de l'Est and République. Both neighbourhoods are full of restaurants, bars, and cafés. Excellent for transport links within Paris and to outlying areas.

Pros: Its proximity to Métro line 11
Cons: Television didn't seem to work, but I wasn't there to sit in the room and watch TV.
Location: République is very close by where there are plenty of things to do.
I have a flat in Les Lilas which I am getting decorated and furnished. The hotel is very close to République where I can catch the tube 11 to Mairie des Lilas.

No fridges in the room. Toilets are very small. The Hotel is not far from place de la Republique and Strasbourg St Denis. The location is ideal.

not what I expected

Posted Nov 22, 2015
Pros: Private
Cons: The sign outside should be lit up, not grey with no significant features to find at night on Arrival
For a starred hotel this was disappointing Staff don't wear any identification badges, so when speaking to them, they have no idea who u are speaking of Because we had early departure, ordered shuttle and the hotel charged 16 euros to the hotel and 20 to the driver-why? To make a dimple phone call, not explained to us On departure there was no record of us paying the taxes even though I had paid it three days prior along with the shuttle fee. The lights in the common corridors are off always, very dangerous if you are trying to get about to the elevator The ceramic tile was damaged and falling from surrounding the bathtub There were home, ess people sleeping outside of the hotel, very discomforting
