Business trip to Paris

Pros: perfect location
Cons: non
Location: drink, eat and shop ticked all the boxes.
ideal location for access to my business requirements, and then entertainment, bars and restaurants.

Great central location

Pros: Great location
Cons: The rooms are a bit tired. They could do with a paint and a refresh.
Location: 20 minutes walk to Lourve, close to metro, 30 minutes walk to Paris Nord. Great street.
This is an excellent hotel to stay at, particularly if you are travelling on the Eurostar. It is only about half an hour walk from Paris Nord and 20 minutes walk from the Lourve. It is in a lively street with plenty of options for cafes, restaurants etc right downstairs. There is a metro station just 10 minutes away. The room was small, and very hot, but that didn't dampen our experience. They are family friendly.

Great location

Pros: The location is really good, close to bars, restaurant and metro station. Bathroom was lovely and clean.
Cons: Could do with a hoover and some of the decor was a bit tired
Location: Great location, can walk to bars, restaurants, the Pompidiou Centre and the Seine
Easy to book in and staff were not too in your face. Didn't have any hot water one morning and found our key card wasn't working, compensation was a "sorry"!!

No hot water and the staff lied about it!

We stayed two nights in this hotel without any hot water since we checked in in the morning of Christmas day, we told the front desk there was no hot water in our room, and the lady said it would be fixed soon. So every time when we were in and out of the hotel, we asked the staff if it was being fixed, and every time we got the answer "yes". However, it was never fixed for the two days of stay, and when we asked the manager what was happening, it turned out nobody was fixing it. We asked for room exchange, and was told the entire hotel was out of hot water. We asked why they were lying at the beginning, he made so many excuse, and didn't apologize a bit what they had done. We pointed out the fact he was there when the staff was lying, and he said he was not the manager and knew nothing, and there was no manager in the hotel. I have traveled over 20 years, and this is the worst hotel I have ever stayed, with such rude and indifferent attitude towards customers. Ironically, on the front door it shows a mark of four star, what kind of four star hotel this is!

Lovely staff, tiny room

Pros: This hotel was great in terms of: warm and genuinely friendly staff, stylish and tasteful décor, the street the hotel is in is charming and vibrant.
Cons: Room 201 was tiny. I'm 5ft 10 and my legs overhung the bed. There was barely enough room for 2 people. The bathroom was only just usable.
Location: Street is beautiful, mainly pedestrianized with great cafe's and restaurants. Beware taxi at Gare du Nord station asks 85Euro's when true cost is 15!
If we were given a decent sized room, I would have rated this hotel very highly. Everything else was excellent, but even for an old, city centre hotel the room whilst tastefully decorated was barely useable for two people. Maybe other rooms are better? We saw room 501 and it was much better.

Paris Fashion Week

Pros: perfect location to travel to and from appointments.
Cons: The room was very small for me, however it was comfortable.
Location: a great selection of bars, restaurants and shops close to the hotel.
A very successful trip business was successful, also being so close to the many bars and restaurants made the whole trip stress free.
