Excellent Boutique Hotel

Posted Jul 14, 2017
Hotel is in an excellent location along a street that is pedestrian traffic only which has bakeries, cheese and wine shops, and cafes reasonably priced with a wonderful selection of food. The hotel staff were superb. They were very accommodating to our requests and provided assistance in restaurant reservations and recommendations. Our room was clean and quite spacious by European standards. I would highly recommend this hotel to anyone looking to stay somewhere comfortable in a great location.

Awesome location - walk everywhere!

Posted Jul 10, 2017
This is a typical hotel in Europe. As expected minimalist and small for most American's standards, however, sufficient for its purpose! It is excellently located if you are going in tourism or if this is your 1st time in Paris! It gives you the experience to be at the heart of Paris, doing what Parisians do. Great shops and restaurants nearby offering multiple options of foods. You can literally walk to the Louvre and many other point of interest. If you are not a walker, no worries, transportation options are available around the corner. I won't recommend including breakfast, you find better options at better pricing just outside the lobby door!

Absolutely in the best location

Posted Jun 25, 2017
Pros: Air condiioned and quiet with super comfortable beds.
Cons: The last day the hot water was a problem and for those rare hot days in Paris boosting the AC would help.
We changed hotels to the Victoires Opera during stifling 94-96 F days and we wished we had stayed every night here. You walk out of the hotel into a beautiful walking friendly part of Paris. Surronding by cafes, shops, stores and a mall and very close to most of the cultural sights in Paris. A bonus for us was we could sleep each night with a window open and not hear cars, horns, police, and people shouting all night.

Great location.

This hotel has great location for the price. It's on a street with many food choices, the Lebanese falafel place was fresh and tasty and right across was the oldest patisserie in Paris with delicious croissants. Les Halles is close by and more restaurants, easy walk to Notre Dame and the Seine. Nice old building but the rooms could use updating the staff however was quiet, borderline unfriendly. I wanted to stay another night because it was inexpensive and overall okay but there wasn't availability which was fine, but then the front desk woman started pushing to sell me a hotel to airport transfer when would be going to another hotel for the last night, I tried to tell her I won't be coming back here just to catch a hotel transfer from here, I'll take something from my new location. It was the only tome she could manage a conversation, and then over something I didn't need.

Quaint hotel close to Forum Les Halles

Posted Apr 17, 2017
Pros: Many restaurants close by. Walking distance to the Louvre. Very helpful staff.
Cons: All wood on furniture needs resurfacing and more maintenance.
Location: Dining, shopping, sightseeing. Everything is nearby.
Reasonably priced hotel near the center of Paris. The hotel is on a limited access street that fills up with people every afternoon. There are dozens of restaurants only a few yards either way. The rooms are small but are well appointed with fridge and good beds and linen.

The staff was incredibly friendly and helpful. The room we stayed in this time around was supposed to be a superior room, but it was smaller than the room we stayed in when we visited in 2015. The bathroom was also way more cramped. We love the location and staff, but I don't know that we'd stay there a 3rd time.
