After 10 years of not visiting the Westminster i can say its better than ever , perfection location for shopping , dining, sight seeing. Excellent staff and service. Charming and relaxing room, romanticbar.Perfect for business or pleasure.

The location is great. The hotel has old world charm, but the staff is truly what makes this hotel special. Nicolas the concierge knew who I was even before I got to the front desk and greeted me and my family with open arms.

non-smoking room upgraded to smoking room

Pros: free wifi ?
Cons: Inform their customers properly about non-smoking/smoking room ? Keep their promise in arrangement of taxi to the airport and morning wake up cal.
Location: This hotel is about 5 minute walking to Louvre. It is convenient to everything.
The original room that I purchased on Expedia was too small. I should have checked for the square feet of the room before booking it. When we got there, my wife decided to pay an additional $100 Euro per day to upgrade to a spacious room, this was a vacation after all. The big room was really really nice except that the room is not smoking free. They didn't tell us that we were upgraded to a smoking room. If anyone is smoking in one of the rooms on the same floor, the second-hand smoke would be carried by the air conditioning system to all rooms in that floor. I had to pay to experience the 2nd-hand smoke. There were other things too. My overall advise are: 1. Make sure you know the size of the room before booking. 2. Tell them you don't want to be in the smoking floor unless you smoke and don't mind the 2nd-hand smoke. 3. They didn't make the morning wake-up call as they said they would for our morning flight, nor did they arrange the taxi we asked at the appointed time. Everything was delayed exactly 40 minutes. My friend experienced the delay on other trip (not the same hotel) to Paris too. So make sure you take that into account when arranging the taxi. 4. We didn't have breakfast or any meal at the hotel during the entire stay, so there is no comments on that. 5. They don't provide the free shampoo and conditioner. What they did was they send some Asian ladies to knock on doors on a daily basis to ask if you need it. And of course, what they really wanted are some tips.

オペラ駅徒歩3分!立地よし、建物古し、朝食飽きる

Pros: 立地。
Cons: 全面的に改装すれば宿泊代を上げても価値はあるのでは。立地は何事にも代えがたいのだから。
Location: オペラ座。日本食のレストラン、ラファイエットも徒歩5分。
立地重視で選んだホテルなので古さは覚悟していました。デラックスツインで予約し、12時頃着きましたが快くアーリチェックインに応じて頂けるようでしたが、すぐに出たかったので荷物だけ預けて買い物に行く旨を伝えるとラファイエットで使用できる10%オフカードを渡してくれました。使用にはもちろんさまざまな制限があるので、該当するものが買えず使用はしませんでしたが。 部屋は1階で古いが重厚感が有る感じ、バスルームはドライヤーがありますが固定式の蛇腹のようなホースみたいな形のものでこれまた古かったです。広さはぎりぎりスーツケースを2つ広げられるくらいでセーフティーボックスや冷蔵庫はきちんと揃っています。朝食を付けていたのですが、3日とも全部同じ内容。。飽きます。パン・スクランブルエッグ・ヨーグルト・サーモン・ハム・ソーセージ・チーズ・炒めたマッシュルームとトマト・ハッシュドポテト。フルーツも少し。なにより生野菜がない!!きゅうりしかない。まぁヨーロッパってこんなものなのでしょうね。ヨーグルトは美味しかったです。ヨーグルト感が少ない(酸味がほとんどない)ので好き嫌いはあるかもしれませんが。 オプショナルツアーで朝早い日(朝食は7~10)は朝食を詰めてくれました。パン・ヨーグルト・ドリンクでした。 お湯の出や温度は問題ないですが、エアコンの表記記号が太陽マークと雪の結晶マークでどちらが暖房冷房か分からなかったのですが、太陽マークが暖房でした。 立地以外おすすめすることが少ないホテルです。

美術館とショッピング

徒歩5分圏内に駅が路線の違う地下鉄駅が3つもありとても便利。ルーブル美術館、オルセー美術館も徒歩圏内。朝はセーヌ川まで散歩もできる。百貨店ギャラリーズラファイエットも近くショッピングも便利。部屋は静かで中庭の景色も良い。朝食も美味しい。

Nice location.

This is a nice very Parisian French style hotel. It looks like some of the rooms are still being renovated and the other bad thing is that this building is probably very old because you can hear the noise of the floors when you walk around that there is plenty of dry wood and it probably has a lot of termite. Be aware that the elevators are also very small, but the front desk is extremely helpful, the room that they gave me was also very old and it did seem that it needed to be remodeled. A very nice girl from the front desk upgraded me at no additional cost a newly renovated room which she was also extremely helpful.

Menos la ducha, todo ok

En general todo bien. Pero la ducha (al menos en la habitacion 318) mal. Imposible de regular temperatura,sin presion y una colocación no óptima de la ducha respecto la bañera.

Complete refurbishment required -Staff excellent.

After arriving for a fifth visit over the years, we were allocated a very poorly maintained scruffy room so I complained [ note. the hotel was not well utilised and a better room could easily have been allocated ]. I was then offered two separate rooms , one at a premium of 100 euros extra per night, the other 200 euros per night. eventually the better room was offered at 100 euros pn. Unfortunately, although a re-furbished room the electrics were hopeless and did not work properly.The knob handle on the wardrobe immediately came off. I must point out , all the staff were excellent in all respects.
