View of Eiffel not as advertised.

Only had one night in the city while in Paris for my honeymoon so booked deluxe room with view of Eiffel. Had to look sideways with my head almost touching the window to see the Eiffel Tower. Room was enough to sleep in overnight but nothing to make it stand out. Overall I would not recommend and would suggest smaller boutique hotels closer to Eiffel for better views.

Pros: the location. the transportation is nearby.
Cons: Where do I start....
Location: Shopping at Palais des congres, Cafe at Angelina's, shopping at la Defense (3 or 4 metro station away), Jardin d'acclimatation
the hotel is undergoing renovation. I asked for an early check in and it was confirmed that I will have 1 of 3 rooms available at 10 AM instead of 3 PM (which is their check in time). We arrived at 2 PM, and no room was available yet. At 3 PM, the housekeeping crew did not even start cleaning our rooms up.at 4 PM, we asked for just any room because we couldn't wait anymore, after 10 hours of travel and a jet lag. Moreover, the painting in the room was all peeled out, there were flies in the bathroom and it smelled bad. 4 stars? Ha! Not even a 2 stars experience.... Even the breakfast is not as rich as it used to be (I used to visit this hotel a long time ago and it was great when it was still Concorde la Fayette.

best location; walk to arc de triumph/ Eiffel Towe

Pros: LOCATION and views
Location: In heart of Paris- close to everything; bus, metro stations; Arc de Triumph and Eiffel Tower walking distance as is Champs Elysis
Great view from 32 floor of all of Paris including Arc de Triumph and Eiffel Tower. Grocery store outside hotel in the same building is very convienent. They are remodeling but we were not disturbed by noise. Our room had not bee redone yet and was very outdated but the view out the window and the location of this hotel makes up for that.

Pros: The location is good. It is within walking distance of Arc de Triomphe. There is a bar on the 34th floor, where you can see Eiffel Tower.
Cons: The metro can be accessed from within the hotel. However, you have to access from the street in the eve due to recent safety concerns.
Location: Easy access to all tourist attractions through the subway (metro).
This hotel was previously Concorde Lafayette. It continues to be a good hotel. They are doing renovation.

Bugs in 5 stars hotel

I found bugs on the bed , Bugs in 5 stars hotel!!!!? very noisy because of construction in hotel , breakfast was ver bad, not 5 stars hotel brakfast.

Fine hotel but a bit far

The hotel staff was excellent and the room, while a bit small, was fine. The location was a bit far from all tourist attractions, however. The neighborhood boasted many shops and restaurants but the bulk of the "must see" Paris attractions required a lengthy walk (through decent neighborhoods filled with shops and bistros) or other types of transportation.

A BARGAIN IN CENTRAL PARIS

Pros: I felt secured for me and my family. A/C and hot water great. Close to attractions and stop for Big Bus. Staff speaks excellent English
Cons: We found little information about public transportation. The restaurant and the cafe: menu and quality of food needs to be improve.
Location: Great location. Many restaurants,cafes and bars nearby. Nice neighborhood.
Security is tight outside and inside the hotel. Staff will do their best to make your stay comfortable and secured. I booked the cheapest room in the hotel and I was given a room that exceeded all of my expectations. The hotel is within a walking distance from the Eiffel Tower and the Arc of Triumph. Magnificent view of Paris from my room that included the Eiffel Tower. If your room doesn't have a view of the tower or the Arc of Triumph you can go to the bar in the 31th floor and watch the illumination of the Eiffel Tower.There are many excellent restaurants and cafes nearby. Breakfast starts in one at less than 8 euros. Quite and secure neighborhood. I've been six times in Paris and Hyatt Regency is by far the best hotel I've stayed in.

Fantastic location

Paris is highly walkable from this hotel, 10 minutes to Arc de Triomph/ champs elisie and 15 to Eiffel Tower. Lots of restaurants, bakeries, shops. We never needed to take a taxi or metro.

Pros: The view from my window on the 26th floor
Cons: We were there for six nights, and three of those we had to call to have wash cloths brought to our room
Location: The location made it easy to hope on the metro and go where ever you wanted to. The breakfast was outstanding
This experience was one I will never forget. Thank you
