Nice hotel & staff; delivery of services lacking

Posted Mar 21, 2017
Pros: Courteous staff, location convenient to Gare du Nord, for taking train to Expo or CDG; metro also at Gare du Nord for access to sightseeing.
Cons: Tighter practices on supplying rooms; better record-keeping on payments, especially is advance payment will be the standard.
Location: Convenient, but like any train station in alarge city, the area can be sketchy at night . . . . or during the day to a naive traveller.
Stayed a few days for business then vacation afterward for several more days. Colleauge and I had separate reservations for business and had to pay upon checkin. He checked out to go home, and they made him pay my bill a second time. I had to furnish receipts to show that I had already paid - very odd since we were not on same reservation and they could not locate charging me first time. Ran out of soap and was given one that should hang in shower but needed a key to install; took several days of leaving soap tube in sink to get it hung in shower. Ran out of toilet paper, because not enough was put in room after cleaning (& it was obviously not enough). Although the bath was cleaned daily and cleaned well, the debris behind the room door was there when I checked in and when I checked out a week later. The staff was truly courteous and helpful when asked for help, but the standard practices for charging and cleaning did not seem to be managed well.

Nice hotel very near to Gard du Nord station

Posted Mar 7, 2017
hotel is good and accessible to transport, very near to Gard the Nord Station and a bus stop in front of the hotel which is very helpful for people like me. the hotel in itself is okay, you get what you paid for. No additional ammeties like what you see in other hotels but the staffs are very helpful in spite if the language barrier they try there very best to accommodate all our needs. I would definitely recommend this hotel.

Very clean room with handy location

Posted Feb 22, 2017
Pros: Handy location for Eurostar and Metro. Also modern, clean room.
Cons: A safe in the room would be good. Kettle and coffee sachets.
Location: Good base for sightseeing. Easy to walk to Sacre Coeur. Bakery for breakfast croissants, McDonalds, Belluschi's American restaurant, plus many others.
We stayed here for 4 nights. The room and bed (possibly kingsize) were comfortable, clean and modern. Took our own travel kettle and teabags! (None provided). Hairdryer not very powerful - we took our own. There are restaurants, boulangerie and supermarket nearby. Very handy for Eurostar - 2 mins walk. Double glazed windows kept the sound out. Area noisy, busy and appears a bit rough as it's near a main station but really easy access to Metro for sightseeing. Room was warm, but we were able to turn the heating off. No safe in the room, but we knew this.

Dear Cazza, Thank you for your comments. We are glad that you are satisfied with your stay in our hotel. Sure enough, we do not have a kettle in the room, but you can always take hot water in the coffee machine in the breakfast room. Concerning the safe, we have them at the reception level. We hope to see you soon to serve you better. Best Regards,

Good place to stay in Paris

Posted Feb 12, 2017
I booked 2 rooms with mentioned 4 adults. However, on the arrival the staff had charged me 6 adults' tax which I only knew it after checked out and don't have time to argue with them as I am rushing to airport. This is totally disappointed as I don't know what has been gone wrong. Other than the issue above, this hotel is a very nice place to stay in Paris.

Hello, Thank you for taking the time to tell us about your stay in our place. we are very sorry to read that the services offered did not match your expectation such as your room type. It might be a mistake but in our computer, in 2017 we are only finding 1 reservation with your name, which stayed in our place for 1 night 1 room only, same after checking with our partner Expedia.com. We did charged the city tax for that room as we do for everyone, for the amount of 1.65€ per person per 2. they were only 2 adults. Could you please reach us directly and provide a copy of our receipt in order to solve this case the best way possible. Regardless, it was a pleasure to have you here. Hope to regain to confidence by even better serve you during your next trip in Paris. Have a nice day

Clean modernised hotel

Pros: It is a basic practical hotel ideal for a short stay.
Great breakfast and very near Gare du Nord, with very friendly staff. The rooms look modernised with good facilities and the price is reasonable.
