This property served its purpose for an early train out of Gare Du Nord. The street noise is nothing however the walls are thin and maintenance workers in the building overnight were tossing clean linen bags all over the hall. The front desk saves the staff rating as they did check me in at 1pm with no additional fee. If you’re looking for an easy transport stay, this does the job. For all else, stay away.

Given the condition of the hotel and the need for renovation, the price we paid was high. Location to train station is great. We were frequently told to be careful of pick pockets in this area.

DO NOT STAY AT THIS HOTEL, WE CHECKED IN THE HOTEL FOUND IT DIRTY AND ROOM SMELLS A VERY BAD ODOR 😕, WE CHECKED OUT IMMEDIATELY. AREA IS DANGEROUS IN THE NIGHT TIME. STAFF DO NOT SPEAK ENGLISH AND LOOKS LIKE A MAFIA. STAY AT NOVATEL SUITS VERY GOOD HOTEL. AVOID TIM HOTEL.

Stayed with my two jetlagged children. Fabulous, relaxed, multilingual staff, easy helpful check in, delicious breakfast, great shower, comfortable bed, and located directly opposite Gare du Nord, with transport on the doorstep. Recommended!

The hotel's carpets are very dirty, the breakfast is very limited, the shower had mold, the television is located in a very bad location, the coffee maker in the room is very old. We will not return or recommend that hotel.

The staff are lovely and very accomodating. They could not have been more helpful. The shower was missing any door seal and leaked all over the floor and into the main room when used. Just needs sorting really.

Only stay for one night/ worst hotel
I read the reviews and found this was better suited for my criteria 1) close to Gare Du Nord as we were travelling from London with an 9 month old baby. 2) we were only staying one night so something reasonably affordable 3) wanted it to have essentials like kettle Once we had arrived to the hotel, which is situated near a variety of restaurants the area seems rough and there were a group of boys smoking at the front of the hotel. Check in was very slow, one man on desk who wasn’t very enthusiastic or welcoming. He just asked for my ID, paid a fee and gave me the room key. Nothing mentioned about breakfast time or that there was a lift. Very poor customer service. The man could tell that I was struggling with the bags as I had my baby and he did not offer to help me. There was some building work happening and builders were entering and going upstairs. The stairs were messy and there was sellotape on the lift as the hotel is still getting renovated. The lift was tiny, my husband had to go with our suitcases first then myself and my baby. We could barely fit inside and it was moving very slowly. No room for the pram which I had to leave downstairs. This was very annoying and inconvenient. We entered our room which was spacious and extra pillows left for us. There was a safe, a table with the kettle and a range of tea/coffee sachets with milk pots too. The bathroom was average, towels were provided and soap. Checkout was poor, too busy talking to one another colleague.

Excellent location for access to Eurostar and other public transport. The room was small but comfortable and facilities were appropriate for a short stay. The hotel is currently being redecorated which impairs opinion on cleanliness and facilities. However, I would definetly stay there again.

The location is excellent even though it’s not too safe at night, I was smoking outside around 10:30pm in the smoking area right at the hotel’s door and two guys tried to steal my phone. Not to mention that I misplaced my room key and when I went to the front desk to get another one they only asked for my room number, didn’t ask me to confirm last name or anything like that. So it’s a security hazard since anybody could have access to any room just by asking the front desk for a key. Now if you expect a good costumer service go somewhere else. The guy that checked us in didn’t even say good morning or anything friendly, neither did any of the other staff members. It’s just the principle of Hospitality: even if you don’t care, make a small talk. Me and my friend were honestly treated like a banking transaction: Give me your money > Here’s your keys > Now, leave. I asked for a cup of coffee in the morning and the guy at the desk told me that I had to wait for housekeeping at noon. And then I asked how could I get a fresh cup of coffee and he again slightly rolled his eyes and said that I had to go search for the housekeeper on the hallways if I wanted more coffee. The housekeeper was actually really nice, maybe the nicest staff member of the hotel. Overall it’s an okay hotel if you’re okay with the bare minimum (or zero) of good costumer service.

Very Good Everything!
We chose the hotel due to the location and it is right smack infront of the Gare du Nord station main entrance. Below the street is abundance of restaurants and shops. We also signed up for the Big Bus Hop On Hop Off bus and realized the bus stop is just outside the hotel! Very very convenient throughout our whole day! I love it and if I go Paris again, I will definitely recommend this hotel.

It’s very convenient location-wise. It especially worked perfect with our itinerary. From getting off the train coming from London to Hop-on Hop-off tour, which stops right in front of the hotel. The staff were nice and very helpful.

This property is right by the train station, it was loud and seedy. Lots of unfavorable characters walking around trying to sell cigarettes etc. Didnt feel safe. Room was OK. Nothing spectacular

Other than the close proximity to the train station, it has nothing going for it. The rooms are small, the shower in the bathroom that we had so small you can't even bend down without hitting your head. On the street in front of the hotel, there were always few guys hanging out arguing, pimping and selling drugs. This is not a hotel I would take my family to.

BUSINESS STAY @ TIMHOTEL
Generally the location is splendid. Just a stone throw from the main entrance of Gard Du Nord station, which was what I wanted. Couple of things to note, the environment around Gard Du Nord is not exactly friendly. Right outside Tim Hotel entrance, there will always be a row of motorbikes and during evenings, always have people loitering and smoking and shouting while seated on those bikes. Food wise is pretty managable, i did not opt for any breakfast package, however there are plenty of dining options to choose from within the vicinity. I was assigned 2nd level for my stay, and my window was facing directly at the train station entrance, was concerned about the noise during the night but suprisingly, windows have very good sound proofing, couldn't hear a single thing at all, which turns out great. There are provision shops nearby to get your necessities and water supplies, so convenience is 5/5. However the toilet had quite abit of cooking fumes from the restaurant located at ground level. Probably had to do with certain exhaust pipe leaks. But overall the price was good for what I got.

Air condintioning did not work. Nowhere to sit for breakfast, very small area. Staff was friendly enough. Location is excellent if want to.be close to train station, but high traffic area, loud.
