middle of nowhere

Posted Mar 20, 2017
hotel is very outdated, but rooms seem to have been recently renovated slightly. hotel is really out in the middle of nowhere... no public transport within walking distance and it's about a $40 taxi ride into Paris each way. the hotel is located in the airport and the closest entrance to the hotel closes in the evenings during the weekdays, so we had to use a different airport entrance much further away to get back.

Right at the Airport

Posted Dec 28, 2015
Pros: Good location and good value
Cons: Signs, Signs and signs as well as how to access the hotel! It is easily located, right off the road BUT there is a large, high fence surrounding.
Location: Close to stores and only a 10 minute drive to the international airport.
Clean and tidy hotel, located at the regional airport - not at the international airport. Everything was satisfactory.

Very average, but affordable. Room was clean, but nothing to write home about. This is very much a simple, clean affordable hotel. The food was pretty good, but only offering buffets, which were good but expensive. This is in an industrial area, so everything is a cab ride away...

Nice hotel but you need a taxi or car to get to it

Nice hotel but you need a taxi or car to get to it. No public transport access. And taxis don't like doing short journeys in Le Bourget.

Pros: leaving it.
Cons: i have to answer this in less than 150 characters its impossible to do.
Location: very bad location and nothing to do near by but fear for your safety.
So arrived at this Hotel at about 8pm on a sunday evening, rather hungry after the flight and metro then bus service to get there. Realised on the way that there was NOWHERE within a rather long taxi drive to eat out so decided we would have to eat in the hotel restaurant that evening but no it was closed and there was no room service either (was told this after a bit of a wait due to the receptionist having a private chat on his mobile). We ended up walking to the nearest hotel which happens to be a marriot and asked if we could use their restaurant which they happily agreed to. So the next day we go to the centre of Paris which is about 40 mins bus and metro journey. The trip home was very eye opening very packed bus full of drunks and pick pockets so be very careful, it was not an experience we would like to repeat. The hotel staff were a lot better the next couple of days. This hotel although not in itself that bad is a very long way from the centre of Paris and many people may feel very intimidated by the travel to anywhere. There are NO restaurants or places to go anywhere near this hotel and if arriving on a sunday make sure you have eaten elsewhere. Will not be going back.
