Wonderful!Posted Nov 12, 2015
Pros: The clean modern decor and the amazing staff.
Cons: No change
Location: 3 blocks from the Louvre, 3 miles from the Eifel Tower and less than a mile from the Latin Quarters and Notre Dame.
I would recommend staying at L'Empire Hotel. The hotel is 3 miles away from the Eifel Tower, 3 blocks away from the Louvre and less than a mile from the Latin Quarter. The staff was very welcoming and always willing to help. We arranged for pickup and drop off to and from the airport with the hotel which made traveling much easier. We reserved the room with breakfast package and found it very accommodating. There is a bagel shop two doors down from the hotel, but the light in house breakfast was perfect; slightly more than a continental style breakfast. Thank you Sonia for being so wonderful! We hope to one day return to beautiful Paris and the L'Empire Hotel will be are choice for accommodations.

Hotel is a few steps away from Rue de Rivoli, a main shopping area and steps from the Louvre. Neighborhood is quiet and well located.

Excellent hotel in heart of ParisPosted Oct 8, 2015
Pros: We upgraded to a deluxe room which provided a king size bed (only this was really 2 twin beds adjoined), but a very large space.
Cons: bathroom had separte water closet, but sinks were located in separate bathroom, so it was odd for washing hands. just had to get used to it
Location: The location is virtually 1 block from the Louvre, 2 blocks from Pont Neuf, less than 1 mile from Notre Dame, plenty of shopping, cafes, etc.
fabulous time in the heart of Paris! Walking everywhere from this location was perfect; we were able to experience french culture via the many cafes, shops, bakeries, sites, etc.

Well worth the money for a memorable stayPosted Sep 30, 2015 on Hotels
Great personal treatment which commenced before we'd even alighted from our taxi. All staff were very friendly and approachable. We were escorted to our room to ensure that we were entirely happy and knew of all services provided by this boutique hotel. The room was lovely, very comfortable and furnished to a good standard whilst the ensuite was a generous size and well appointed. The shower was good and strong. Room was serviced daily to a high standard, no notes trying to encourage you to reuse your towels, bed was turned down each night and concierge very helpful with suggestions on places to visit as well as good local eateries. I would not hesitate to stay at this hotel again, it was the highlight of our six week trip to UK and France.

Nice rooms , but make sure the elevator works!Posted Sep 29, 2015 on Hotels
While the room was great (nicely decorated, big bathroom, nice amenities), I got stuck in the elevator... It took a half hour to fix it and the staff was totally incompetent.
