Great little escape
Great hotel located about 20 minutes or less from everything (when taking taxi/Uber). Great communication with staff, very professional and friendly. No problems encountered. Room was very clean, breakfast available for small fee. Hotel is near a bar, and you can hear them occasionally, however, it was nothing to complain about. They do have a hair dryer and iron, as well as laundry facilities on site, but you must have Euro's to use the laundry facilities. Hotel has a locked gate on both sides of the little alley from the reception area to the room side, so wanderers can't just walk in/out. You do get the gate code so if door is closed (desk agent has stepped away) you can still get in. Located by lots of restaurants and convenient stores. I would stay here again.

The room was very dirty. Stains in the sink, carpet & bed. Curtain half hanging on. Glad it was only for one night. When asked at the reception where can we find a local shop to buy drinks & restaurants to eat we got the response of “i’m not familiar with this area” all round disappointment. Huge lack of knowledge & hygiene

De douchekop kon je niet ophangen de vloer heeft ook zn beste tijd gehad zou dr absoluut niet met mn sokken op lopen. Bed lag verder goed. Maar als je naar La seine de musicale gaat is het wel een goed gelegen hotel. Ben er ook maar 1 nacht geweest. Wel supwrmarkt aan de overkant en restaurants in de buurt .

For starters, I love the location of where this hotel was. Your staff was very friendly and very welcoming. The only thing I did not like about this hotel was our shower area being American obviously were used to keeping the water in the tub and not all over the floor, the glass door didn’t really help to keep the water in the tub too much. It splashed out a lot because we were using the shower and a lot of the water was splashing out from the door and getting all over the floor so our towels were pretty much being used to stop the water from going everywhere. Other than that this hotel was in the perfect location where was fast enough to get to all your main attraction it was in an area where you had a couple of restaurant options to eat from plus a nice little café so overall my experience with this place, I would give it a 8 out of 10.

This is a great place to stay if you are looking for a budget stay but still nice hotel near the Paris city center. It’s also a great place to stay if you want the amenities that most rooms in Europe do not have, such as a mini fridge, stove, microwave, and dishes. The only downside is the 100 per night deposit..if you don’t have a credit card I could see how this could easily ruin someone’s trip.

Every thing was ok, but the room floor was pictured with Parkete coverings, but it was covered with very dirty carpet. This dirty floor was the worst I have ever seen.

This hotel needs fixings
What I liked about this hotel, is the convenient kitchen area inside the room. However, I didn't like that the air conditioning system didn't heat and the shower was not delivering a steady temperature water, changing from cold to burning hot water in seconds. The staff didn't even pretend caring and didn't try to fix any of these issues.

Simple, confortable, quiet place
Lagrange is an affordable place to stay in Boulogne: each room has its own kitchenette which is a great way to fix quick meals and escape take away, and restaurant food. Be aware that you must clean the kitchen area before checking out or they will charge a cleaning fee of 25 Euros. Each room features its own wifi. My room's wifi failed after 5 minutes but I was able to connect to another wifi closeby and it worked like a charm. I must underline that wifi is crazy fast there (almost 100mb/s). I didn't have breakfast there but it's really affordable. Be aware that the hotel features almost no amenities: they charge 8 Euros for the sauna (you must reserve it) and their gym has probably never be used as they store old furniture and paperboard in the room.

Hotel was okay, but far from Paris center. Approximately a 35-45 commute on the metro. I would spend a little more and save time! There aren’t many restaurants around and the airports are really far from here!

The hotel room was quite dirty – kettle had grubby marks all over, cups had lipstick marks, stove top was rusted/stained from lots of use, floors were badly stained and curtains (more like panelled sheets) had food marks and pieces on them. No Wifi in breakfast room so couldn’t work with colleague and had to leave asap. Double charged on arrival for rooms (there should have been information for the receptionist that we had prepaid rooms and only needed to pay city tax). On the plus side, the staff were very helpful and did all they could to make us comfortable including giving us milk for our room to make coffees the next day as we had not come prepared. Overall, the rooms are a let down but the staff are great.

This hotel sucked, No A/C what so ever. The staff can't really understand you. The area in Paris is 45minutes away from thr airport, The breakfest you have to pay for. Overall experience I wouldn't recommend this hotel to anyone.

Not worth the money
The area is pretty quiet, and chill compared to the city center. Although, it is substantially far from the center. Then, the hotel was not a pleasant experience concerning the several reasons. Firstly, Wifi did not work at all during 4days of my stays. They said they'd had problems with internet service, so they recently changed the service from one company to another, but it still doesn’t work. (Who knows if this is significantly reliable when comparing to other conditions around the hotel). Secondly, AC and Spa were out of service as well. Thirdly, staff members are NOT friendly. Lastly, I was so disappointed with the fitness center they have mentioned in the Amenities. It’s not a ‘Fitness Center’ it is just a small room with 3-4 workout machines. Overall, it’s not worth the price of what you are paying for.

This hotel looks nice, but thats about as far as it goes. When I booked, the details were relatively scarce until after they had taken my money, they weren’t shy in mentioning the grandiose deposit they require. Of course, once I had given them the total money for my stay, they became very dismissal about discussing terms with me, as I’d already fallen into their trap. There were extenuating circumstances for my stay in Paris and I couldn’t cover the deposit after paying the entire room charges, so I begged for a reduced deposit, only slightly so that I could still come. They refused and took my money anyway. If you’re lucky enough to find their fee structure and you’re happy with it, I say give it a go. If you’re on the fence or wonder how else you might fall for a trick, Best to avoid!
