Lack of air conditioning made our stay unpleasant
Relatively new hotel at 2 years old so things are in pretty good condition. Unfortunately, the hotel made the decision to turn off central air conditioning and put on the heating in early October. However, the weather had not really turned cold. We called twice on the night of our arrival about the temperature and the front desk sent up a technician that just punched the same buttons as we had and shrugged off. The next day, we complained again about the temperature and stuffiness (resulting in us having to leave the window open and therefore loud at night while trying to sleep), and the front desk said they tried again. Upon our checkout and we had a different person helping, they said it was a central decision to turn off the A/C! If that was the case, that should have been communicated to all of the other staff instead of wasting our time with people trying and failing to be helpful. I'm surprised by the lack of coordination and general helplessness of the staff.
