The hotel was pretty good large room but the fridge was not working. The toiletries was insufficient. Apart from that everything was fine and the location is good too. Very close to metro station literally just 3 minutes walk

2 night business stay in Mercure La Villette

Pros: Location for business.
Cons: Better restaurant with larger menu and part of hotel. Both lifts working. Water at a reasonable price. Accord points regardless of booking channel.
Location: OK for my business trip with offices close by, but not leisure. Otherwise would only stay there if going to an event at the La Villette complex.
I have stay here previously, but some elements have gone down hill. No Accord points as booked through a broker, one of two lifts functioning for a 10 storey hotel, no ability to book meal in ajoining restaurant to room, restaurant menu very limited, drinks expensive. Needed water at night, 10.5 euros for 3 50cl bottles.

Good price, near gare du nord, leaking shower

Location: There's a big park and the walk by the canal leads to a nice cafe for lunch.
The price compared to others was good for an out of town hotel, near to Gare du Nord which suited us. The shower design is awful and leaks out of the bathroom on to the hallway carpet - wet socks. Had to find stuff in the room to use as stepping stones in and out of the bathroom. The AC only pumped out cold air even set at 30C so we turned it off but still very cold room. The bed was nice and big and comfortable, condiments provided- just would have been nice if they were replenished along with the soap. A few basic things that need to be addressed.

Overall a great hotel

Pros: Nice lobby, room was huge, good value, nice staff, nice service
Cons: Wish there was room service and shampoo and conditioner not combined, the sink and shows did not drain well (water kept accumulating); the bed was not the softest, but the room was well maintained clean and staff was overall great
Location: great location right by pitchfork!

Nice hotel close to metro

Hotel close to metro, supermarket and takeaways. Hotel staff friendly. Place clean and tidy. I thought the breakfast was ok, Not bad, a variety of choices. An hour away on metro from Eiffle Tower.

TERRIBLE SERVUCE

I arrived at the Hotel , no elevator was working, they did help me with my luggage upstairs all the way to 6 th floor I left my room at 1pm , Return to the Hotel at midnight, my room was still not clean. This was verified by the 2 attendants on Sunday Jan 24 2016. I asked for a refund and they refused

Lovely hotel very close to everything

I was a bit scared after reading the negative coments....but i didnt need to be. Hotel is beautiful and comfortable.Was staying in privilege room with a beautiful view from the window. Outside is a metro taking you straight to the centre of Paris. Staff of hotel very helpful and friendly. When metro was closed due to roadworks they find me alternative route very quickly..... Breakfast is fresh and yummy. Included in my room price so cant complain that was expensive. Definitely will stay there again...

Convenient location and reasonable rate.

Pros: Location and quality.
Cons: Carpet in room needs to be replaced or better cleaned.
Next to a Metro station for Line 5 at the edge of the city. Hotel is well maintained and staff very friendly and speak good English. Will stay there again if I return to Paris.
