Stay anywhere else.
Worst hotel in paris. Staff were rude and unhelpful. There is NO AIRCON, room unclean - dusty, grime in shower. We were locked out for 20 mins after midnight (2 women) The security guard sucked his teeth at us, and shouted at us for knocking the glass (after ringing the bell a few times). There are stains on the carpet and all rooms and areas are very tired. Holes in sheets, stains on sheets, walls and carpets. They didn’t replenish any toilet roll, or towels without request. Also didn’t clean our room when requested. Area is very sketchy, not safe to walk around at night.

Mercure Paris Ivry
The hotel is nice, clean, good size room, lovely facilities (bed, big tv, shower). The receptionists are very polite and helpful. Good breakfast. The area is ok with plenty of public transport services. The only thing that the Hotel should include in their description is : the underground parking is at L-2 with really tight routes. Some large SUVs may not be able to get in. I have a large car and managed to fit in within mm. Thanks!

Feels grubby. Not dirty but needs redecorating and recarpeting. Car park is good. Metro 15 min walk. Takes 40 mins to get to eiffel tower. Same monmarte. Breakfast was average at best Staff were polite, and available when needed Tbh unless you need a secure carpark I would avoid this place

I stayed here for 2 nights for work. The hotel rooms are very basic and somewhat dated. Clean enough, not immaculate. Very budget style hotel, limited staff and no real facilities. The breakfast was actually alright. I would strongly recommend not going out in this area on an evening. I’m a fairly well travelled individual but I felt very unsafe, even in the day.

My air con didn’t work and when i asked the lady who was apparently the manager,how rude she was and unhelpful it was the worst customer service i have ever experienced, so we had to make do with no air con and non opening windows. I asked for a fork one night around 9.30 as I was told there was no room service or food available I had gone out and bought a chicken salad but realised it didn’t come with a fork, I was told this was not possible as the kitchen was closed even when there were a full dining area with knives and forks. I don’t normally leave bad reviews and I have stayed at mercure hotels many times in the uk but this has well and truely put me off and the woman who was on reception was so rude and unhelpful I have never seen anything like it.

The hotel room is not in great condition. Lights hanging off the wall, the safe needs new batteries. On a plus side the bathroom is fairly new and clean.

When we arrived the greeting was not very welcoming. The room was clean and the bed very comfortable. The only inconvenience was that they didn't have something as simple as an Iron in the room, so when you need to used one you have to go to the front desk and borrow one from them and return it as soon as possible. Other than that we enjoyed our stay.

Hotel was having major work done which we we not told about. We had to pay twice as we were told the booking hadn’t been paid for. When checking in no mention of free breakfast and ask for advice where to eat no advice and then in our room the air con wasn’t working so had a terrible nights sleep. Would not stay there again.

Hotel was nice and clean. Bed was very comfortable. Some of the staff was not helpful. Hotel is about 25 minutes from the city so expect to spend a bit in taxi’s or uber. Tons of restaurants and shopping near by.

The property is a bit old and dated. We stayed at the Novotel Issy De Molineaux one year ago which was an excellent hotel. This Mercure Hotel paled in comparison to that experience in every category. That is the reason for this subpar review. This hotel was average but we would prefer staying somewhere else on our Paris vacation next year. Preferably a Novotel property.

I found hair under the pillow and some body hair on my bed. Also, there’s smell of body lotion on some part of the quilt so I’m sure it’s not the smell of the washing detergent. But as it’s late at night at 2 am, I didn’t change my room and slept with my husband on the other bed. I wonder if the hotel would change the bad sheet or the pillow cover every time. Really bad experience of staying there!!!

This is not a four star hotel !! Few facts, which you have to expect, when you planing to stay in this hotel: 1. Its old and renovated hotel, with small rooms and fridges, which doesn't work 2. Air conditioning doesn't work in the entire hotel, I was witness a conversation between one of the quest and hotel reception staff (which was extremely rude), guys try to report , that air con doesn't work in his room, reply from hotel stuff was, that there is nothing what he can do about it ! 3. There is a lot of noise generated by old Air Handling Units (see attached photo), therefore if you want to open window open (due to lack air con) , you will not has a pleasant sleep. Poor Standard, I would not recommend this hotel to anyone !!!

Mercure Paris Ivry Quai de Seine overall experience was OK. It was OK because we didn't spend time during the day at all, maybe one day and we ran out as quickly as we could. AC was not working. Luckily it was not hot and the temp at night helped with the situation. the GOOD; clean, organized, rooms size ok, not noise, nice breakfast. Staff was willing to help, but of course during working hours. the NOT SO GOOD: it's a bit far from main attractions, but I guess it goes with the price...RER-C is within 15 mins walking distance, but if it's down, good luck figuring out how to get there. The other Metro station is over 25 mins walking distance and the closest that will get you there is a Bus, 325 or 180. The neighborhood was not bad, people were friendly. A/C in our room was not working at all, they went twice to check and nothing was done, not even moving us to another room. We took videos and compared with other rooms and showed it, and nothing. Like I said before, we spent most of out time outside of the hotel and by the time we got back, it was too late to do something about it. Nice weather helped.

If you want to be in Ivry
Don't think this is Paris. The hotel is on the River Seine, but there is a concrete plant in between the hotel and the river so don't expect great views either. It is also at least 10 minutes from metro/rail transportation - either the RER C in Ivry (trains every 20 minutes or so) or a good alternative is to walk over the river to the Liberte metro. However, if you want to be in Ivry this is a pretty good choice. Rooms are well maintained and comfortable, wifi is good, and there is a big Carrefours supermarket 5 minutes away.

Hotel itself is really nice, staff were helpful and the paid breakfast was lovey with a wide selection to chose from. Parking facilities were easy to use and safe however the area the hotel is located in isn’t great. It has a very run down feel about it and is not located close to any tourist attractions if that’s what your visiting for. The surround area smelt of sewage which was unbearable to endure. All in all if your looking for somewhere to stay overnight and your passing through it’s a great, especially given the price.

The hotel was close to where I had my conference, so it was more about convenience. However, the location wasn't the nicest, but still some great little places to eat and drink. plus it was a lot cheaper than anywhere else in Paris. Luckily, was close to an RER line, so pretty easy to get into the city. Overall, my stay was great.

Room is warmer than outside temp. Air conditioner is worse than a fan. I couldn't sleep good. Tv is very small. Couldn't really see good. Elevator smells. Lobby smells. I wanted to have a coffee once at 10:30am and no one was there to serve me. I wait for about 15 min. No show. In general I don't recommend this hotel.

I only stayed at this hotel because I couldn't find anything else in the area, and it was a big disappointment to say the least. The hotel location is terrible to begin with, right in front of a busy street by the river with a lot of traffic noise. There was also heavy construction on the riverbanks in front of hotel, adding to the strong sense of restlessness. The room was horrible, really reminds me of a college dorm room, with terrible lighting, very old and aging furniture, broken/torn blinds, and windows that didn't close completely, making room noisy and cold. I'd get better sleep in a Motel 6 anywhere back home in the states. Will never stay again.

Good hotel not far from the city centre
Hotel staff were great. Unfortunately a number of guests had smoked in their rooms which left a smell along the corridors. The Windows wouldn't open which made the room quite warm. The shower was heavenly!!

No crib as advertised. Locked us out.
Will not be recommending this hotel to anyone. We were traveling with an 8 month old this past weekend. We asked for a crib that is supposedly (always available) and we didn't end up getting one until our last night (wasn't even a safe crib, so our baby ended up sleeping with us once again. After checkout (noon), I sat in the lobby waiting for my husband to bring the car around. I walked outside to calm down my crying baby and then tried going back into the building. They wouldn't let me in. It was raining and cold and I had an 8 month old baby. We had just paid close to 300 to stay for a weekend in their hotel and they treated us horrible. Who locks their front doors at noon on a Sunday? And refuses to allow paying guests back in? They even have a hotel bar/restaurant I could have waited in. No wonder the place was always dead. I was in tears that my baby was crying and cold and had to wait outside. Never again and my husband will be contacting corporate office!

New year's escape
Soundproof room, super clean room & bathroom, very comfortable bed absolutely nothing to complain about. Choose the 8 train it's half the walk than the 7. Many stops by train but short ones. Half an hour from center. Definitely a great choice though.

Ok hotel if you don't need any facilities
This hotel was had to find especially there parking facilities as only a small sign facing the wrong way. When entering there was no check as to who you were and felt staff were abrupt. Wasn't told in advance that the restaurant was shut so had to find our own food on our first night. Room smelt and was cobwebs on the ceiling.

Short trip away
The hotel is a 15/20 min walk from Metro station and 25 min train ride into Paris. The area is quiet but does have small local shops near by. The hotel is very clean but the beds are hard. Very friendly staff.

2 Nights in a Paris Mercure
I was there for 2 nights whilst attending a wedding nearby. The hotel has no restaurant service on weekends, just an expensive and poor quality self catering facility. There are no alternative restaurants nearby. The breakfast was excellent but at € 17 not a gift. Even though they gave me a quiet room, the hotel all around is fairly noisy. The toilet has no fresh air inlet, it is simply a room with 4 walls.
