Mercure Paris Ivry Quai de Seine overall experience was OK. It was OK because we didn't spend time during the day at all, maybe one day and we ran out as quickly as we could. AC was not working. Luckily it was not hot and the temp at night helped with the situation.
the GOOD; clean, organized, rooms size ok, not noise, nice breakfast.
Staff was willing to help, but of course during working hours.
the NOT SO GOOD: it's a bit far from main attractions, but I guess it goes with the price...RER-C is within 15 mins walking distance, but if it's down, good luck figuring out how to get there. The other Metro station is over 25 mins walking distance and the closest that will get you there is a Bus, 325 or 180. The neighborhood was not bad, people were friendly.
A/C in our room was not working at all, they went twice to check and nothing was done, not even moving us to another room. We took videos and compared with other rooms and showed it, and nothing. Like I said before, we spent most of out time outside of the hotel and by the time we got back, it was too late to do something about it. Nice weather helped.
