Best is the cleanliness of the rooms and common areas. Area nearby is not interesting, but it's close to Orly Airport.

Rooms are very tired therefore not super clean. Restaurant is close Friday thru Sunday. Bar drink pretty bad and the most horrible burger EVER aka take ground beef cook it like a goulash then form it in to a patty then add cheese and call it Le Burger… Also very hard bed!!!

The food at the restaurant was not good and the service was slow. The coffee machine in the lobby was broken so I could not have coffee in the early morning. They promised me a 6:40pm pickup by the airport shuttle, but by 6:55 it had not arrived so I had to call a taxi or miss my flight. Would not recommend.

Electricity went out for several hours. We were dying of heat. It caused a lot of uncomfort and anxiety. They hotel did nothing to compensate us for this.

This was the worst experience I had. In the checkout the receptionist told me that the payment was only for one night and not 2 nights. I showed that I paied in expedia , she say that in the computer and system, it says that I paied only one night. After 20min she understands that I fully paied. Other point: the check out I make it very early at 5:00 i asked one night before for 2 breakfast boxes because I paied already for breakfast. In the morning I find a buffet for breakfast open, I asked receptionist if we can take breakfast there , she said No this is only for other customers from airline company. I told her ok give me the breakfast boxes I asked yesterday, she gave me only one box , and she told me she can give only one bix per room. In the box there is nothing only small croissant, small juice and small yougurt that s all. No water, i asked her give me at least water and coffee, she said she can not. After I insisted and said I will complain, she gave me only one small bottel of water and let me to go to the bufet just to take coffee. And she was shouting when I went close to bread in order to take sugar and she thought I will eat something from there. This is not acceptable at all. And how as a customer of Expedia and gold member I am treated like that with all family even my small baby and parents. I wait for a reaction from yourside Expedia. Thank you

The fact that nobody could speak English was a problem. The meals were restricted as far as timing is concerned. Breakfast was pretty bad.

Ok for a night
Our room did not look at all like any of the photos, it was very dated. We were only there for one night so wasnt a problem but would have been had we been staying longer. There was a smell in the room too and the bed sheets felt very cheap and uncomfortable. What was not clear prearrival was that the airport shuttle enda at 11pm so we had to find a taxi. The lobby is really nice, the staff were lovely and the shuttle to the airport was helpful.

Disappointing from Mercure
I had good experience with the Mercure chain but this time the service was disappointing. At first I was given a room with people living in there already. It was an awkward experience for me and the couple living there. Then in the second room I was given, the drainage of the basin was blocked and there was a full basin of dirty water even before I used it. They could only get it right at the third try. I have better expectation from Mercure and I just hope they can maintain the good standard across the branches.

Arrived at the hotel after a long day for a late check-in.The hotel was full!!!! Which doesn’t make sense!!! U book a room and they give it away for somebody else ! The late checkin is till midnight. And i arrived at 11pm. And still didn’t get my refund!!!!!

I liked the proximity of the Mecure to Orly and the free shuttle bus. The room was large, the air conditioning was great, and I had a view of the Eiffel Tower in the distance. Everything was in great working order and I especially liked the sliding sun shades--similar to pull-down roller shades, but these moved along a track in the ceiling. Kept the summer sun out of the room.

Clean, well cared for, and pleasant, helpful staff
Our room was clean, and the hotel was well cared for. The front desk staff were helpful and pleasant. Unfortunately for us the hotel was quite a distance from the sights we were interested in seeing. The hotel was close to the airport, and provided a shuttle ride to the airport.

I used this as a stop over between long flights. Pleasant staff in all areas. The bed was very hard and lumpy. The pillows were uncomfortable. The breakfast was quite good and started at 5:30 giving plenty of time to get to the airport. The airport shuttle took 25 min and was every 40 minutes in coming by at my usage time. The driver was very helpful. The room was very basic . Good shower. I would plan on using this again if the bed was improved but, as it is, it's a deal breaker.

Everything was clean and staff was very nice and helpful. Plenty of space, especially compared with the norm in Europe. Close to the airport with an easy shuttle. Also close to a bus stop to take us into Paris to the Renfert station in 45 minutes. Did not like that there were no vending machines for a drink or snacks. I had to go to a next door hotel for that. We ate at the hotel restaurant and the food was good but took forever. Waiter apologized but we think he forgot to turn the order in. He said he wouldn't forget and would take care of us. He didn't as they charged us the full price of the meal and even 5 euro for one liter of water. That was crazy. I was pretty upset about that but I don't know enough French to argue.

Best holiday stop over
We were greeted by a very pleasant receptionist. The room was very pleasant and we enjoyed our evening meal. As always seems to be the case the cod was no longer available and we had the sea bass instead. We accompanied this with a pleasant wine. Breakfast was a little disappointing, as the chocolate arrived in packet form and the ham was spam. Overall we enjoyed our stay.
