Excellent hotel but wrong room

We liked everything about the hotel except that we had reserved a junior suite and received a two floor small apartment with two small rooms plus a bathroom. The bedroom was upstairs and it was so much trouble to go up and down the stairs to get from the bedroom to the lounging area, so we never really used the lounging area. Thus we found the floor layment to be very inefficient and would have preferred the junior suite layout as shown when the room was reserved. The staff was all very nice and helpful and the hotel is well located.

最高の立地、親切なスタッフ、清潔感にあふれた部屋。ロビーも高級感あります。他のソフィテルとは全く違う、と思いました。また泊まりたいと思います。

NOT WORTH IT

Cons: Decor is awful. Prices do not reflect the quality.
The gist if it is, this isn't a 5 star hotel and the room we stayed in -- and i say that as a rather experienced traveler-- was way overpriced for what it was. We booked a room which was 430 Euros and initially were shown a tiny top floor room with low ceilings, much less than the advertised square meters, with cheap looking furniture. They said that the square meter they had advertised included the bathroom blah blah. We protested and were moved to something on the second floor, with the same cheap looking forbore, the tacky awful plastic painting and the same furniture. This was "livable" but definitely NOT NOT worth 430 Euros. It would be an ok room for 200 or 250 Euros. Also, the moment we entered the hotel, the receptionist started trying to sell us upgrades-- to the point that it was inappropriate. When checking in, and later 4 more times, she offered an upgrade us for another 50 Euros. We had to tell her "We already said no. Please stop repeating that" It was very pushy. Crass. Also they tried to sell us this jewelry promotion from a nearby store etc. Terrible manners, terrible decor, this isn't the Paris I would recommend to anyone. Have a more special experience and hold onto your money. I will easily say that this is my worst Expedia experience and it made me wonder if I would even look at Expedia. Clearly it speaks to a wider general public and they may not all be looking at a special experience…

tenho o cartão sofitel gold portanto possuo massa crítica para avaliar a rede sofitel Este sofitel ao contrário de outros possui uma equipe rude e estressada que nao se pode comparar com a hospitalidade de outras equipes da mesma rede. No sofitel le faubourg vc paga um hotel 5 estrelas e recebe serviço de ibis de 2 estrelas Primeiro ao chegar não tinha ninguém no momento para carregar as malas. Solicitamos programar um transfer para o aeroporto de Orly e a recepcionista disse que só de taxi sem o menor interesse em atender ao cliente que estava à procura de conforto ao invés de economia. O quarto é minúscul, equivalente a um Ibis Portanto, este sofitel 5 estrelas para quem procura serviço, atendimento e principalmente hospitalidade deixa bastante a desejar

equipe rude Hotel bem localizado Nos hospedamos 2 vezes e por não ter contratado direto com a rede sofitel nos colocaram sempre no primeiro andar e nos menores quartos existentes no hotel Não recomendaria

Wonderful

The hotel service is excellent and the location is perfect for high end shopping as well as museum touring. The street is safe and the neighborhood beautiful filled with luxury shops. The staff were excellent and provided great service from check in until we left. They helped us immediately with any questions, arranged a dinner, and helped us to get to our train on time. Highly recommend. Also the hotel is beautiful and modern with a fashionable flair.

We booked 5 nights at the Sofitel Paris Le Faubourg. Checked in at airport, ate dinner and went to gate to board and flight was cancelled. Air France booked us the same time the next day. So while still at the airport I called to inform them that we would be a day late. We were told that we would not be charged for that night but we were. Hotel is very nice and comfortable. Good location to the high end shopping. Breakfast was expensive but good, but they don't like to replenish the scrambled eggs. Front desk and concierge were very nice and helpful. Breakfast staff seemed upset that they needed to wait on you, with the exception of one nice woman.
