Very comfortable, great staff, great area

Posted Dec 2, 2016
I stayed at the Victoria Palace Hotel with my family. We had two connected rooms and enjoyed our 5 night stay very much. The area is fantastic close to restaurants, shops, museums and lots to see. It is on a very quiet street and not in the hustle and bustle which makes it a great deal. The staff are very friendly and super helpful, they really do their best to make your stay enjoyable. We got great restaurant recommendations. The rooms are very comfortable and roomy by Paris standards. It also has a beautiful and bar area for an aperitif or after dinner drinks. It also has a lot of history. Totally recommend this place.

Hotel with a nice feeling

Posted Nov 30, 2016
We liked this hotel very much. We had a junior suite and it was large, comfy and although right at the centre of a vibrant neighbourhood very quiet. The room could have do with more plugs. Very nice and friendly staff. The only disappointment was the buffet breakfast : poor. No smoked salmon. When I asked for soya milk or poached eggs it wasn't an option. However, chatting with a receptionist he explained that they are under new management which is picking up after the previous owner retired. So there's hope :)

Pros: Rien !

Pros: Good location but little else likeable Good size room
Cons: No coffee facilities in room. Shower in a bathtub. Staff not available, probably cutting costs. Poor value for money.

Perfect to explore Montparnasse and the Cartier La

Posted Oct 6, 2016
Located perfectly, in a quiet st, to explore the south bank on foot. The hotel does not offer restaurant services except for a buffet breakfast (which was good), but there are uncountable restaurant ena eateries options in every nationality imaginable within a 5-10 minute walk. Barely a block from the galleries Lafayette if you are into shopping, and all sorts of medium to top end stores. Easy walk to the Eiffel tour, Alexander the lll bridge and les champs, or Notre dame and the Cartier Latin! Because we only had 2 days on this visit and our objective was to "walk the streets" and explore the south bank this location was perfect for us. As for the physical hotel itself, it was ok. There is another hotel in Paris that remains our favorite, but this served its porpose well. One thing I should mention to management and will likely not be an issue for anyone else, was the odor of the product used to clean the bathroom... maybe a wax for marble?? I did not agree with it but close the door wand slept well in the confortable bed. Thank you for a nice stay and for lending us un umbrella what it looked like it may sprinkle, as well as the electric adaptors!

Pros:
