Beautiful hotel

Posted Feb 19, 2017
Pros: Room itself was lovely
Cons: Better heat control
We only stayed one night. The room was very large and beautifully decorated. The bathroom was a gorgeous, all granite and very large. In our room we did have 2 balconies that overlooked the street. Our only complaint is that the room was warm. We tried turning off the heaters, but it was still warm. The staff was incredibly friendly and helpful. We walked from Montparnass to the hotel, which was less than 1/2 mile. We were on the 6th floor, and it was very quiet. The subway stop was convenient too. We would highly recommend the hotel.

Best kept secret

Posted Feb 17, 2017
Pros: Pretty much everything.
Location: Rodin museum is in walking distance and it is a must see.
I found this hotel randomly on Expedia and didn't expect much before going there. I just wanted to make sure that the room was with a bath tub, and since the hotel claimed to have a bath tub in every room, that was enough for me to decide on this hotel. I was pleasantly surprised when I found out that the room was very spacious with very charming atmosphere, the breakfast included in the price provided a wide variety of food, and the staff were very friendly and helpful. Overall I had a great stay there and regretted the fact it was only for a night. I would definitely go back there, and recommend it to any of my friends.

Beautiful Hotel In the French Tradition

Posted Jan 31, 2017
Pros: The beautiful furnishings, the large tradition french windows in the rooms, the helpful friendly staff, the breakfast room and buffet are delightful.
Cons: We would love to see an in-room coffee and tea pot. Upon awakening or after a long day, we had to call for hot water in order to make tea.
Location: Within walking distance to several major Metro stations with access to the entire city and Versailles.
From the front-desk staff to the lobby design to the room decor, this hotel is delightfully beautiful. Meticulous attention to detail is evident. The breakfast buffet is quite plentiful and beautifully arranged. Quite a lovely place indeed. The friendly staff are gracious and very welcoming. Overall, a wonderful experience on this our second visit.

Comfortable and pretty in a convenient location

Posted Jan 12, 2017
Pros: Attractive, spacious room, nice big bath, beautifully decorated public areas, helpful staff, exellent location for getting everywhere!
Location: Walking distance to Bon Marche, Jardins du Luxembourg, and transportation. Plenty of excellent restaurants in the neighborhood. Safe, secure location
We have stayed at the Victoria Palace on two trips to Paris, both stays were 10 days or longer, and we plan to return. The hotel is charming, the rooms nicely decorated, and have nice baths. Staff is eager to help. Concierges Mathieu and Charles guided us to excellent local restaurants, and were cheerful and helpful in every category for which we sought assistance. Everyone speaks English quite well and seems quite happy to do so.

Very comfortable, great staff, great area

Posted Dec 2, 2016
I stayed at the Victoria Palace Hotel with my family. We had two connected rooms and enjoyed our 5 night stay very much. The area is fantastic close to restaurants, shops, museums and lots to see. It is on a very quiet street and not in the hustle and bustle which makes it a great deal. The staff are very friendly and super helpful, they really do their best to make your stay enjoyable. We got great restaurant recommendations. The rooms are very comfortable and roomy by Paris standards. It also has a beautiful and bar area for an aperitif or after dinner drinks. It also has a lot of history. Totally recommend this place.

Hotel with a nice feeling

Posted Nov 30, 2016
We liked this hotel very much. We had a junior suite and it was large, comfy and although right at the centre of a vibrant neighbourhood very quiet. The room could have do with more plugs. Very nice and friendly staff. The only disappointment was the buffet breakfast : poor. No smoked salmon. When I asked for soya milk or poached eggs it wasn't an option. However, chatting with a receptionist he explained that they are under new management which is picking up after the previous owner retired. So there's hope :)

Old and outdated. Not enough staff

Pros: Good location but little else likeable Good size room
Cons: No coffee facilities in room. Shower in a bathtub. Staff not available, probably cutting costs. Poor value for money.

a gem of a hotel!

Very convenient location - close to restaurants, Metro, shopping; easy access to museums. Fairly small hotel with the services of a larger one.
