Great little budget hotel

I was quite hesitant in booking a 2 star for my stay in Paris but was pleasantly surprised . The area Didot is only a metro ride to the centre of Paris , there are plenty of places to eat such as les artistes where the food was great and the welcome warm. The hotel was basic but good for the price , the staff were really helpful and accommodating , I would use it as a base again .

Pros: Easy to get to the metro system.
Cons: Cleaner facilities, Plug sockets that actually work. More helpful staff. better condition rooms.
Location: Few little shops and cafes near by.
When I managed to check into the hotel initially I was told my room was on the third floor, after walking upstairs I eventually found it in the fifth floor. Got into my room, and the room was bit of a state. went to turn on the tv and it didnt work so I went downstairs and told the receptionist who just said try wiggling the plud a bit and that was all that was done. The safe in my room didnt work and the phone was just shoved into the top of the cupboard. the towel in the bathroom was ripped and didnt look clean. I went out for the evening and when I returned I found that the plug sockets in my room did not work so I had no electricity, this is probably why the tv did not work. I informed reception and after two days nothing had been done about it. So after this experience I would never return and would not recomend this hotel to anybody also this hotel is only a 2 star.

It is very hard to get a decent hotel in Paris for a reasonable price. We enjoyed our stay here but the hotel needs updating!

The closet was broken. There was no soap in thr toilet. The light in the room wasnt working and when I asked them to fix it they lazily said I could use the dimmed bed light.

Overpriced, in a terrible condition

Pros: It wasn't fully booked.
Cons: Everything could be improved.
Location: We had to take the metro, for 5-6 stops, to get to anywhere interesting.
This hotel is truly overpriced and is in a terrible condition. The breakfast is mediocre and costly, while the rooms and the hotel show signs of deterioration. I do not recommend it unless it's a last choice. The only positive thing is that the staff do their best to be helpful.

Pros: Price and the bed size
Location: Convenient because of a small store nearby. Inconvenient for catching a Metro as you'd have to walk several blocks.
This was sort of a last-minute decision as I had made the decision to visit Paris spur of the moment. I was absolutely clueless about where to stay as I had never visited Paris before. While the room felt a bit confining, the bed was sufficiently large. I'd say large enough for 2 adults. The price was affordable for a stingy, single guy like myself. Over all, the stay was satisfactory, and I have nothing to complain about except the availability of English channels on TV.

Pros: Customer Service
Cons: No
Location: You can get delicious pastry in the corner of the street. If you're in the budget, you can get food at the market close by and use their microwave.
I booked a queen bedroom and the room size is larger than I expected for a room in Paris. Great customer service! They also have a tons of info regarding travelling in Paris. I really enjoy my time there and I'm not sure why there were bad reviews. I think they've improved a lot if there were negative points.

Pros: Nothing.
Cons: Everything, especially cleanliness and service.
Dirty rooms, bad service (they did not even wanted to change a burnt light bulb in my room), OK location, bad WiFi only works in the lobby.
