On the beach, staff is helpful and sweet, near restaurant and grocery store, I recommend this hotel

Nice overall, close to beach, pool was lovely.

Pros: Location and amenities.
Cons: Lower price.
Location: Restaurants, beaches, the GAP at nights. Very friendly staff.
Wonderful stall, restaurant was good, but a little long for waiting on orders. The pool and beach were awesome.

Ok hotel. .

The hotel was ok but I guess you get what you pay for. It's very old and needs remodeling. The tv only has 23 channels. The beach is very rough. Staff were nice and drinks were good and pool was right there .

Staff were unpleasant

First of all the staff were unpleasant, no warm welcoming to the hotel as a new guest. Food was OK. Next time going to Barbados I rather spend my money to stay in another hotel with better service than accept that treatment for a birthday trip .

Nice but not the most convenient location

We were only overnighting on the way to another island but are not sure if we will be back. The location is a little out of the way though we did walk to Oustens for fish and that was very memorable. We taxied home though as it was on the far side. Alternatively you could take a local bus. The staff make this place very pleasant. Our front desk and security staff went above and beyond for us. The welcome rum punch was lovely.

We appreciate your feedback but wish to point out that we are located in St Lawrence Gap, which is well established as the epicentre of nightlife in Barbados, so we are surprised that you missed this opportunity. We are also surprised that you would walk to Oistins as that is not in our immediate area and we would never advise walking to that location. It's a half hour walk. Had you turned right, instead of left, after leaving our hotel, you would have walked right into "The Gap" in about 3 minutes. We hope you do return in the future so that you can really experience the options. One night was definitely not enough.

Nice Hotel

The staff was very pleasant and the hotel was right on the beach. It was a beautiful view to look at in the mornings. There was security at night to make sure the area and guests were safe and comfortable.

Good location

Pros: Good AC, clean room
Cons: STAFF needs training on customer service and friendliness.
Location: relatively close to St. Lawrence Gap, the party area
Food at restaurant was mediocre....nothing special or tasty. Fruit was on the menu, but no fruit. Arrived at restaurant before the crowd and wasn't served or asked for order until after crowd was asked. Staff all around seemed apathetic about serving. No sweet greeting or attentive service by both food and beverage staff and front desk. Room was spacious. Light was out in the kitchen and no matches were there for the kitchen. AC worked well, but wifi was spotty. No entertainment. For the price we paid off season, it wasn't worth it.

We have a proven reputation for having very friendly staff, so we will look into your claims of "apathetic staff" as this is not the norm. We do not provide entertainment because our location is within walking distance of the Gap and most guests take advantage of the plethora of restaurants and bars in the Gap. We regret that we were not a match for you.

This is my third stay at Denver, but breakfast should be always part of any package, it starts the day better. I plan to return in a few months

Good value for your money!

Pros: I liked the location of this hotel which is located next to a really nice beach.
Cons: They need to provide beach chairs on the beach to the guests as there are none.
This hotel is conveniently located as it is right next to the beach, walking distance to St. Lawrence Gap where you can eat and shop. There is a convenience store and restaurants nearby too. The ride from the taxi at the airport to hotel will cost you $16 USD. The hotel has a pool and bar as well. The wifi works well and is free. Overall, the hotel is very clean, and staff is friendly. I would recommend this hotel if your a value for your money type of traveler.
