Staff friendly and nothing is too much. Offered an upgrade and money off as s expedia vip. Room was twin bed with swimming pool. Very good condition very comfortable and daily maid service was good. Resort was not busy beach was clean and well serviced Overall excellent resort and staff

Honeymoon Stay

Prior to arriving, we contacted the hotel to understand all of the room options for our honeymoon (we really wanted an ocean view). We never got a response and ended up with a garden view. The room was clean and set up great! However, the garden view was not as pretty as we overlooked partial construction all day. The beach is beautiful and they have pink sand! But they have a seaweed problem that makes swimming at certain times annoying. Look up when the seaweed gets bad before you go! The staff on the resort was attentive and extremely friendly/helpful. They even cleaned our dishes for us. Some of the staff remembered us from our daily ventures, except for the last day. We went to the Carriage house for lunch and on the last day we were there for 2 hours and they never waited on us. We then had to back to the room and pay for room service. It was a decent stay, maybe not for our honeymoon though. I would recommend for a vacation!

Beautiful Setting, Great Staff

Pros: The location, the staff, the rooms.
Cons: More nightlife
Location: Amazing views, convenient to Airport (10-15 mins). Not too far from real nightlife (St Lawrence Gap, 20 mins)
Stayed at the Crane with spouse and adult children. Wonderful experience. The views are breathtaking and the staff is fabulous. Rooms are spacious and clean. The sand is powder-soft, the water is beautiful but very rough, though it's to be expected, since it's located on the eastern side of the island. For calm waters the West and even some Southern beaches are the place to go. You can easily do day trips to those sides during your stay. The food is very tasty, but pricey of course. The bar/lounge 1887 has good drinks and tapas and live music nightly from 8-10. The only thing lacking was some addtl nightlife (maybe a nighclub that stayed open until 2am or something similar).

Excellent Resort

Pros: Air condition units need maintenance but it did not ruin the trip
Location: Marco Polo and Brown Sugar restaurant. Glory tours ask for Ryan to give you the tour, the rum factory tour and Harrison Cave were great
Great rooms, I had a two bedroom and three bedroom suite ocean view in building 5 and they were great. Need to work on the air conditioning. The staff was exceptional, Susan at the Carridge House and Rochelle in reservation were great. They did a great job cleaning the beach each mourning also. The elevator is help for older people going to the beach, keep up the maintenance on the elevator.

Very disappointed!

I expected so much more from this resort. The food was sub-standard and over priced. The AC in the living room didn't work and the one in the bedroom sounded like a lawnmower. The grounds and views are breathtaking, so that's what you're paying for.

Relaxing and clean

Nice hotel away from crowds. Good Food but expensive. Needs more daily entertainment. Nice staff. Rough beach. Pools and grounds are nice. Construction noise during the day nearby but didn't ruin it since we are out and about.

As long as you know going in that for such a large resort that things can go wrong u will be delighted- amazing staff and beach amd pools ans of course Zen!

Beautiful Resort

Pros: People. Pools. including the plunge pool in our first room and private 20 foot pool in our second room. Monkeys - saw the green monkeys a couple of
Cons: AIR CONDITIONING DOES NOT WORK. Complained two times and it was "fixed" each time - NOT. Eventually moved to another room where it actually worked.
Location: Out of the way location, one lunch and one dinner place within walking distance otherwise long cab ride to anywhere. And hotel adds 50% to cab fare.
Spent a week there in June 2017. People were fantastic - from the concierge desk, to porters, to restaurant workers, and absolutely everyone else. They always had kind words and were very helpful and friendly. Some great swimming pools. Good variety of restaurants, but like everything else on the island for tourists pretty overpriced. Bar 1887 has live music most nights and the lamb skewers were amazing!
