I did not like that the pool and spa were not open. I did not see that before booking. Directions for in room coffee pot would be helpful!

Love this place, service was exceptional! Patrick at the front desk was helpful, and Logan, when we request for assist he came right over, in short time! And did a really good job! Would love to come back again!

Its a nice place to stay it isn't a typical hotel it was a bunch of little buildings that have rooms so its a bit of a walk from the parking to rooms just fyi. The bed was really comfortable, the room was nice. My only complaints were the hot water for the shower wasnt hot more like luke warm & the floor in our room was pretty dirty like they hadnt been swept especially in the closet.

Drive ways needed paving, staff was friendly and very helpful. Most of the staff did not speak English (Spanish). I did not speak, but they were very willing to help. Not necessarily clear about the difference between the Crater and Hotel? Had a good experience, would like to see the new pool when finished.

The pool and hot tubs were shut down. This is the reason we wanted to stay there. The potholes on the property were enough to swallow a small car. We were placed in a second story in a cottage, it was snowing before we got here and the stairs up were crazy slippery and not shoveled. In the morning I almost landed on my face going down. The whole property was not shoveled or salt placed. The TV also didn’t work.

The resort was very nice. When we arrived the door to our room was open. Nothing was unplaced. The toilet paper holder was also loose, but other than those things not a bad place to stay. We did not eat at the restaurant, but the coffee shop had a nice barista and coffee was good.

The newly remodeled rooms are amazing very classy. Our only issue was that the TV was not working and the shower knob was loose and did not hold a nice temperature. The price has gone up since the remodel which makes sense and the pool was closed due to remodel so we couldn’t really enjoy that unless we went across the street to the zermont. The sheets and bed were amazing and we slept very comfortably.

I was coming up for my birthday to relax. Was very disappointed with EXPEDIA for not telling me the pools and hot tubs and workout area were all dug up.So I was there an hour and checked out and went home. Also did not like the walking from the parking lot to the building I was staying in, It took me 2 trips trying to carry everything to my building. Also no chairs in my room. You just have the bed. Did not care for this. The newly remodeled room was very modern and beautiful. I did prefer the rustic look since your in the mountains.

We weren’t able to get checked in until an hour past our original check in time. We left and went out for the evening and came back to the property to very icey side walks. My son has Cerebral Palsy and the unit we stayed in has stairs so I opted to carry him. We slipped a few times on the long dark icey side walks. Once we got back to our room we tried to put a show on the tv for him and we could t get connected to the properties WIFI. We also were hoping the room had a microwave to reheat some late night snacks but no luck there either. We don’t think we will be returning to this property anytime soon

Joshua,I'm so sorry about your stay. We were having issues with the Wi-Fi and the TVs that night. I will meet with our engineering team to make sure that they are keeping the walkways clear. It is difficult with the rain and snow mixing, but I completely understand why that would have left you with a sour taste from our resort. I would love you invite you and your family back for a complimentary stay at some time in the future. I'll be sure to have you in a more appropriate room, and now that our TV system is back up and running, you will have better entertainment for your son. My husband and I enjoyed a quick getaway this weekend at The Homestead. The rooms are recently renovated and super nice. Lots of snow all around, but the walkways were mostly cleared and the walkway directly to the unit was snow-free. Our one and only complaint is that the unit's thermostat was super finicky and didn't seem to want to stay at a selected temperature. We were super hot until I turned the thermostat to auto, but then it cooled down 4 degrees below the selected temperature. I had to turn it back on to heat (shouldn't auto do heat or cool to keep the temp in check?), but then it got too hot again. There isn't a ceiling fan, so with the temperature issues our sleep was not quite as restful as we would have liked. The thermostate issues won't prevent us from coming back, though.

We stayed in one of the newer cottages. They upgraded us upon our arrival and it was so dreamy. We loved how quiet, clean, comfortable, and cozy it was.

Pool, hot tub, exercise facility and coffee shop were all closed. We had no idea these were closed until we checked in and were informed they all were being renovated or fixed. The restaurant was amazing though, with delicious food. The crater was cool to swim in and the area was cute.

Cozy and quaint.
So charming- but when we got there the pool was under construction so no swimming, the coffee house we were excited to visit n the morning was closed, we were staying below the owners kids… who were stomping around well after 10:30pm and being quite disruptive. The amazing host we met in the lobby at checkout was MORE than accommodating and brought us new keys to a different room and comped our breakfasts. So service is awesome- amenities kind of a let down.
