The Newpark is a beautiful hotel in a great location in Park City. Parking is a snap and convenient to the lobby. However, you should to be aware that there are interior rooms. Meaning, the window looks out to a light column and into other rooms with the same orientation. I was disappointed to find myself in one of these rooms. They are a lock off from the 2 bedroom option. As a second bedroom it makes sense. However, as a single unit it is more than disappointing. It's like staying in a very nice closet.
The room itself is great with a fireplace, small kitchenette, sofa and a very large bathroom. The decor is nice, mountain contemporary. I was really looking forward to my stay there until I opened the blinds on the small window only to find it looked into a light column and straight at other rooms about 15 feet away. There is no view outside of the hotel. I stayed in unit 415B.
This was not a make or break proposition since I was there on business. However, this would be completely unacceptable if I was in this room for vacation.

Thanks for the remarks. We would agree that the Standard Room is most often more than sufficient for business - and as a leading Park City Conference Hotel, this makes sense. Our Suites and Townhomes are almost always recommended for vacations and larger parties. I suppose that is one our our key attributes - we can meet so many needs.
Come back for the vacation and I will ensure you get into a Suite or larger!
Enjoy the Journey,
