Nicely remodeled.

Posted Mar 28, 2017
This is the third year we stayed here. It is under new ownership. It is beautifully remodeled and the staff is great. However, I prefer some of the old amenities that no longer exist there. They have replaced their amazing free breakfast bar with an dinner only restaurant they also no longer have the free cookies and hot chocolate in the evening if you've heard about their former traditions. The prices are also increasing significantly.

Nice hotel close to both ski bases

Posted Mar 27, 2017
Pros: Price, great size TV and mini fridge, including Keurig coffee machine which is resupplied daily. Convenient ski valet at front desk.
Cons: Our renovated king bed upgrade lacked sufficient drawers, shelves, mirrors and coat racks even for two adults. Shower door installed wrong leaked.
Location: Great location is close to both ski bases and bus stops in front of hotel.
We have stayed here many times before and really enjoyed the included breakfast and late afternoon "cookie man" visits, both are now gone. The renovations are nice, but the layout of furniture in the lobby area for eating and sitting is confusing. The in door out door pool, hot tube and sauna are great and well maintained.

Thanks for sharing your observations Dave. We're addressing the storage deficiencies as well as the "punch list" items that still need to be corrected with our next phase of renovations starting in April. We hope you'll join us the next time you visit Park City.

Owner Uses Handicap Space

Posted Mar 25, 2017
Pros: Pool
The (new) owner of the hotel parked his giant truck in one of only two handicapped spaces in the parking garage. He did not display a handicapped parking, his license plates were not handicapped plates. I took pictures of it to show the employees and asked them to call the people. They took one look at the photos and said "That's the boss' truck". The truck did get moved, but the driver, who I can only assume was the owner, kind of parking-garage-stalked us later in the evening. It was creepy and somewhat threatening. The front desk people were friendly, but not efficient. They seemed poorly trained. So slow. Restaurant staff was also so, so slow. We waited about 10 minutes just to get water. My husband, daughter, and I have stayed at this hotel more than four times - but we will not be staying here again.

I'm concerned with the feedback you provided and would love to get more information. The managing partner of the ownership group is not local so there must be some miscommunication. In any event, handicapped parking is reserved for those with accessibility issues and we do everything we can to preserve those spots. I'm sorry about the slow/inefficient service you experienced in both the front desk and restaurant. We will address those issues as our service expectation levels are much higher than that. Please give us a chance to redeem ourselves — contact me directly if you wish to experience Park City Peaks again.

Good location near Park City ski resort base

Posted Mar 21, 2017
Pros: The location, access to the free bus and the hotel's van. Also, the hot-tub and pool.
Cons: Our room should be updated. The bathroom area is small, with not enough hooks. The refrigerator and coffee maker are older and do not work properly.
Location: Very near Main Street and Park City base.
The hotel's location was the best thing about it. Our room was on the small side, and not updated. For example, the sink area is small, and there are few places to charge cell phone and lap tops, or they didn't work because the outlets were too big for the chargers. The coffee maker was older and not necessarily clean. The refrigerator ran too cold, even when adjusted. The last night of our stay, we had no TV due to an outage for half of the hotel. The breakfast place was OK, but not much choice. The pool and hot-tub were nice. The robes in the room were a nice touch. Overall, I thought we paid too much for an average room in a good location, but it was also spring break. The staff was accommodating, especially about giving van rides to Main Street. Any other concerns, like whether another room would have had better outlets, were dismissed. The hotel offered to move us the last night due to the TV outage, but we were leaving in less than 12 hours so it didn't seem worth it.

Updated hotel, close to the slopes and main street

Posted Mar 20, 2017
Pros: The hotel shuttle was honestly the best part of our trip- it made everything so easy. It runs at 8, 9, and 10 am to the ski slopes.
Cons: Add an additional lamp to the newer rooms, add some more hooks in the bathroom, add drawers or more cubbies in the rooms
We had a very pleasant stay at the Peaks. Friendly, helpful staff. Front desk staff was a little clueless at times, but overall everyone was helpful and got us what we needed. We were in one of the renovated rooms with two queen beds. Nice clean and modern aesthetic, but definitely a little small. No dresser or drawers, just an open closet with cubbies and a set of hooks on the wall. However, aside from this, the room is nice. Beds are comfortable. There is a mini fridge and a Keurig with some sample K-cups. The fridge is big enough to fit a small milk or some other smaller items. The shower pressure is pretty good. There is free wifi in the rooms. They provide terry bathrobes, which are a nice little luxury. The gym is also well-stocked with three treadmills and a few elliptical variations, as well as weight machines. The pool area is completely renovated and redone, with both an indoor and outdoor hot tub and pool. They also have a sauna and steam room, which are awesome apres ski. There is ski storage and also a Christy's ski store within the hotel, where you can rent gear and buy any small things you forget (ski socks, etc). The restaurant and bar are very hip, with a good variety of food offering and good quality food.

Good affordable hotel

Posted Mar 7, 2017
I've been staying at Park City Peaks for years. Disappointed that they no longer offer warm cookies in the afternoon and VERY disappointed that they changed from free breakfast to free continental breakfast to no breakfast. Other than that, it's a clean affordable hotel with a decent pool and hot tub.

This is a clean and comfortable hotel. The bus stop right outside the front door is very convenient. Several different buses stop here and the hotel has it's own shuttle as well. The restaurant was very good and had decent prices. It does not serve breakfast, but there are breakfast items available for sale. The mini fridge in the room is helpful. The staff was friendly and helpful. Although parking in the underground garage was limited, we always managed to get a spot in there.I would come back here.

awesome hotel close to both ski resorts base areas

Posted Feb 28, 2017
Pros: the staff was awesome, the feel of the hotel is great, love the coffee bar in the lobby, it was a must every morning.
Cons: More Plugs. A lot of hotels have lights with plugs on them so you can charge your phone next to the bed. Also a full length mirror would be nice.
Location: the location is centralized and with the bus stop and the hotel shuttle you can go to any resort quickly.
This hotel was great. The only complaint is there are not enough plugs where guests expect them, like by the bed for phones. I would have also liked another mirror. Other than that the hotel was amazing. The pool and hot tub were first class. The rooms were very clean and up to date but still that mountain rustic feel. The staff was top notch...especially the doormen, they were phenomenal. It was awesome to have a bus stop literally outside the door of our hotel and a hotel shuttle for when we didn't want to wait for the bus. I would definitely stay here again.
