Condo needs a facelift

Posted Dec 31, 2016
Spent 6 nights during recent ski trip. Condo is basic, bathtub was dirty upon arrival. Called maintenance about a water leak from washer, never came to check on it. When heat/HVAC unit is on it sounds like a train, hard to sleep through night with loud noise coming from HVAC unit. Pink bus line is 45-60 minutes to/from Deer Valley. Would have switched to another location but entire town was sold out.

I'm sorry to hear the condo did not meat your needs. We are outside of town so it is best to have a vehicle to travel to the resorts in town. I will address your reported issues with the staff. Brian Bell General Manager All Seasons Resort Lodging

Super uncomfortable beds. Sheets were dirty and hadn't been washed.

Tired and worn out!

Posted Sep 23, 2016
Cons: Units are tired, well used and time for upgrades.
This condo property is tired and worn out. When we entered the room it was to be greeted by a strong smell of moth balls! From the surface the unit looked clean. But the mothball smell was so overpowering that we asked guest services to move us. They claimed the unit was due for a "deep clean". No kidding! They ended up moving us to a unit on other property that they managed. (Red Pine) It was more acceptable....but well used and tired. I wouldn't recommend either of these properties and wouldn't be interested in staying at either of them again unless there were improvements made.

Each room is an individually owned and furnished condo. Their are no "moth balls" used and anytime. I apologize the condos did not suit your needs. Brian Bell General Manager All Seasons Resort Lodging

No after hours physical staff

Posted Sep 20, 2016
Pros: Cleanliness and quiet
Cons: Parking
Location: Location and activities were fine
Disappointed that we were placed on the 3rd floor of a building and not informed there was no elevator. We are 64 and 65 years of age and my wife is legally blind. Although we enjoyed our overall stay at the facility, we will not choose Powderwood for our next stay because of the lack of detailed resort information.

Good option for small families.

Posted Aug 27, 2016
Pros: I liked the location of PowderWood and it was a very fair price. Worked well for my little family.
Cons: It could use some updating throughout.
Location: Right off of I-80, next to the outlet stores and Kimball Junction.
Our condo was conveniently located off I-80 and close to the Tanger Outlet Mall; tucked far enough back in that you don't hear any traffic. Being a condo, you do hear other residents through the walls, but this happens in pretty much any hotel any way. The condo had a conveniently supplied kitchen and dining table. The bedroom had a queen bed and a twin bed. My booking information stated there was a hide-a-bed in a couch, which I was originally planning on my four-year-old using. The bed was definitely a better alternative for her, but it being next to mom and dad's bed was not uber thrilling for us. Oh well. It was a comfortable little place with room enough to stretch out and also take care of our baby whom we also brought. It could use some updating, but it was pretty clean and functional for what we needed. There was a pool on site, but it was outdoor and not heated. My daughter was disappointed that it was too cool outside to use it by the time we got there in the evening. There is also a clubhouse, but it doesn't have anything super fancy, just a few exercise machines and some tables. The hot tub was really gross and, understandably, closed for repair.

Thank you for your detailed review. I'm happy to hear the location and condo suited your needs. We do not manage the pool, hot tub or club house as the property is an HOA so please feel free to give their staff feedback directly during your stay. Park City Condo

Posted Jun 17, 2016
Pros: Location.
Cons: Some of the staff wasn't very friendly and the overall cleanliness of the room.
Location: It is in a good location.
The office to check in is away from the complex and one of the staff wasn't very friendly when we were trying to find where to check in. It doesn't say anything about this on the site. We didn't have air conditioning. In Utah in the summer, it can be very hot. I can't imagine staying there in the middle of the summer with only fans. It wasn't the greatest experience, but for a weekend where we weren't in the room too much it was tolerable.

I'm sorry to hear you did not have an ideal stay. Many of the condos in Park City do not have air conditioning so please check in advance for this feature at the property you are renting. Thank you for your feedback. Brian Bell General Manager All Seasons Resort Lodging

Good for the price

Posted Apr 25, 2016
We had a nice view of the mountains and the room was clean. The housing is anot older building, but it is kept in fairly good condition. We loved the hot tub, but didn't get to try the pool since it was too early in the season.

Powderwood 13K:(

Posted Feb 16, 2016
Pros: In almost 15 years of staying at either Powderwood or Crestview; love the location, price, conveniences, etc. BUT TRULY DISAPPOINTED WITH THIS STAY.
Cons: FYI, I am a resort manager. I "GET" what we deal with, salaried working most weeks 70+hrs/wk. Min wage would be a raise! Better knowledge of condos
Location: Love the location.
Have stayed at Powderwood for many ski vacations. With the exception of this condo, have had great accommodations. Condo 13K had no baking dishes, so we were unable to use the oven. There was no clock nor tv in bedroom. TV in living room was small. Requested condo with a grill, was not accommodated. Grill not a major issue, but due to the fact that we had no bakeware for the oven, it was. Decent(?) condo if you need more than 1 bedroom. There is a loft with 2 twin beds, but be prepared to be woken at sunrise due to sky lights and birds jumping/landing on sky lights. Powderwood has a great outdoor hot tub, but don't be surprised if the gate gets locked early:( A few nights during our stay, went to the hot tub around 8pm and the chain lock was on. YES, the hot tub was in working order, ???night watch person wanted to go home...

I'm sorry to hear this stay was not as good as previous stays. Please feel free to contact us during your stay so we can get you any supplies you may need. As you may know these are individually owned and furnished condos but we will do our best to bring anything you may need that is not in the condo. Grills are not normally a part of the condo so this is not a request we can grant. The hot tub is managed by the HOA so unfortunately we cannot control the hours it is open. We are in the mountains so there is no easy way to control the wildlife. Though many of these issues are out of our control we will do our best to assist when ever possible. Pleasant Stay

Posted Jan 28, 2016
Pros: Powderwood is a resort and I had a one bedroom condo with a full kitchen. The area is beautiful and peaceful.
Cons: Shuttle service could be provided.
Location: Powderwood is close to Sundance Film Festival activities,Tanger Outlets, Walmart, Wholefood, the Redstone Theatre Complex, and ski resorts and slopes.
I had a pleasant stay. The staff is courteous and helpful. The location is not to far from Sundance Film Festival main venues and transportation is readily available.

Thank you for your positive and detailed review. I'm pleased to hear you had a great stay. We do recommend guests have a vehicle when staying at PowderWood. Providing a shuttle service would require us to increase our rates significantly. Park City does have a great free transit system which many guests use to get around as well. We look forward to seeing you again! Brian Bell General Manager All Seasons Resort Lodging
