Fourth stay in same hotel

Posted Mar 23, 2017
Pros: Location
Cons: Internet speed and toilet exhaust fans - too noisy
This is my fourth stay in this hotel in last five years. Would not stay in same hotel if it would be bad. Good location - across parking lot from lifts. Large and clean rooms. Everything works.

It's ok, but pricey and there were issues

Posted Mar 18, 2017
The location was great, but for the price, we expected a little more. The biggest issue was that the room was very hot, and even opening the window wasn't enough to cool it off. (It was pretty warm during our stay, despite it being March.) Housekeeping was inconsistent. We had to call for towels once when they forgot to change them. The room itself was fine, with a full kitchen and a fireplace. The pullout couch was pretty saggy. The bed was fine. All that said, the staff was friendly and it was just a short walk to the slopes. The bus stop was right outside the door, which was very convenient. Free and frequent bus service put us on Main Street in 10-15 mins.

Great loc., room 214 is poor.

Posted Mar 16, 2017
Pros: Location, facilities, staff.
Cons: Room 214 needs brighter lights and more lights. It also needs new mattress and better hide-a-bed option.
Silver king hotel is as close as you can get to the base other than than the facilities connected to the resort. The rooms or apartments are individually owned and room 214 was extremely dim lit. Also the master mattress was far too saggy, and the memory foam topper only accentuated that. The hide-a-bed mattress was unusable because it is such a chin mattress. The rest of the facilities are great!

Great location and nice facilities

Posted Mar 10, 2017
Location is great. Right in front of the parking lot at park city mountain resort. The sky locker was given for free and convenient. Overall, the room was ok and the kitchen was fully equiped and clean, but the jacuzzi tub was so dirty (especially the faucets seemed never cleaned before since I saw black mold) The pool was clean and nice though. Overall, i recommend this hotel.

Nice place to stay close to the lifts in Park City

Posted Feb 24, 2017
Silver King is in a great location close to the lifts at Park City. Nice hot tub and pool for after a long day of skiing. Great underground parking. The only issue we had, which is great for skiing, but not great for sleeping, was the snow removal all night in the parking lot adjacent to the hotel. Other than, great place to stay.

So So

Posted Jan 28, 2017
Pros: location was good, and free hotel shuttle to main street was convenient
Cons: Customer Service. Facilities need updating
The hotel is a bit dated, but some rooms are privately owned and furnished by owners. The location is good but the Pool and hot tub are dated and don't offer any view. The service was very poor. Seemed very terse, and unhelpful. A couple of examples....called for a 7:30 wake-up call, response was "I can't guarantee we'll wake you up, my shift ends at 7". Asked for change, so we could tip the staff. "Sorry, no change". Asked about ride options back to airport, "people take Uber". I then had to remind them of the shuttle service and request the phone #... At checkout, there was no thank you, or how was your stay, etc... Seems they are dong us a great favor by 'sort of' doing their jobs

Almost a studio apartment!

Posted Dec 26, 2016 on Hotels
Stayed here for a quick weekend getaway of winter activities. Room was almost a studio apartment with a kitchen well stocked with utensils. Very accessible to Park City downtown and winter activity hubs. I do wish they had better arrangements for bf/coffee though.
