Difficulty in reaching Hotel staff after hours. They say somebody will be at the front desk 24/7. Excellent location near the slopes

Nice hotel close to activities

Posted Nov 15, 2016
A nice hotel with a lot of things to offer. I did not like how all the doors slammed, but it was a very nice room that offered the essentials. Stores are literally down stairs and the bus stop is less then a minutes walk. Will gladly go back.

Right at the base of the mountain, a bit dated.

Posted Oct 25, 2016
This place is right at the base of the mountain, so you can't go wrong there. The room was a bit outdated, but not to the point of being weird or uncomfortable. The murphy bed wasn't super comfortable, is quite low to the ground, and really cramps the room when it's down. The fitness center/pool/hot tub were a bit disappointing. It's certainly not posh or fancy and seems like the two tiny hot tubs would would get pretty crowded during the ski season. Check in was easy and the room was clean. It was just fine for our off season stay, but the prices in the high season would be tough to swallow considering the needed upgrades and dated feel of the place.

Great Location

Posted Oct 23, 2016
The location was great. It is right at the resort, so you can walk out in the morning and hike. The room was cozy. The fold out bed was uncomfortable.

Could be better

Posted Oct 16, 2016
I visited in the shoulder season and the resort was largely empty. However, the staff unfortunately placed us directly next to and below the only other visitors in our wing. With fairly thin walls, that was disappointing. Our room wasn't clean; we found trash on the floor near the dressers. The shower had some mold on the wall. The bed was very poor and was sunk in the middle, and our feet were higher than our heads. I was surprised at lower-than-expected quality of the facilities.

Freezing Cold in Park City

Posted Sep 22, 2016
Pros: Location Park City, Utah
Cons: It would be nice to have heat in rooms and hotel manager could call back when we were promised he would do so. Shower temperature should be checked.
Heat did not work first night, called maintenance next day ... he couldn't fix heat so brought in auxiliary space heater for second night. Space heater also did not work so we froze again. Spent two nights very uncomfortable. We were told hotel manager would call us, but he never did. Called hotel and asked for manager ... said he wasn't in but transferred call to another hotel. Call was disconnected. Very disappointing! Also shower would spray hot scalding water and then switch back to luke warm ... very dangerous! It kept doing this over and over the entire stay.

Nice and comfortable stay

Posted Sep 6, 2016
Pros: For a last minute booking, the price was very good. We liked being close to the mountain, Alpine Slide, etc. and yet still very close to downtown.
Cons: In order to rent these rooms out during the summer, they need A/C.
Location: Location was great. Just a few feet away from the Alpine Slide, Zip line, etc. Still very close to downtown and the bus stop.
It was a nice stay during the summer months. Room was a little warm but very nice and clean with a fan. Bed was comfortable.

Worse hotel ever

Posted Sep 5, 2016
We got their and they told us that our room had no airconditioning. We got to our room to find a broken down fridge in our closet that was leaking all over, no plastic cups, and no coffee ( which in their description states all these as being some of their "ammenities" the attendant told us that is was the last room left which was hard to believe because we saw hardly no one at all and the parking lot was empty. They gave is no discount and charged us full price. WE WILL NEVER STAY THERE AGAIN!

We Got Moved

Posted Aug 29, 2016
They over booked us and the last room that was available in the hotel had broken air conditioning and other issues. So they moved us to another hotel called "Shadow Lodge" that hotel was just "ok". Over it was just a 3 star experience.

Thank you for your comments. Unfortunatley very few rooms at the lodge has A/C, therefore we were able to move you to the Shadow Ridge so you would be more comfortable.
