Very accessible off the highway

Pros: The staff!
Cons: The sign was a little difficult to see, however Cindy advised us that it was a different hotel chain and they were in the process of updating the sign
Location: Very accessible from the highway
Staff very accommodating and very pleasant! Room was very clean but the bathroom was quite small.

At least they had a good breakfast

Pros: Breakfast was surprisingly nice! The usual cold food but also scrambled eggs, bacon, sausage, hash browns, biscuits and gravy.
Cons: Noisy road. Beds uncomfortable. Carpet dirty.
Location: Don't plan to do anything on the river in late October....everything is shut down. Do look for the covered bridge brochure...it's a beautiful drive!
The mattresses are uncomfortable. I just don't want to roll into someone else's rut in the mattress. Carpeting was dirty and pillows were cheap. The view was of a busy road...had sirens, horns and trucks waking me up all night. Door to the room wouldn't lock unless I slammed it....sorry neighbors! Sheets not changed on multiple night stay..they didn't even offer. No replenishing of soap etc. Was glad to check out!

The room was ok, the bed was comfortable but the carpet was a little gross. I didn't want to set anything on the carpet. Also, the Wi-Fi signal was non-existent. I couldn't get on to any of the apps on my phone nor check my email if I was on the Wi-Fi. I would say it's not bad to stay here if you're not going to be spending much time at your hotel.

Pros: it had a bed and breakfast was okay.
Cons: Rude unfriendly staff eliminated. The morning lady at the front desk was okay. Make sure your breakfast supplies are available
Location: Location excellent. Not a pleasure trip.
I needed to contact an individual in the area and had a Very hard time getting on wifi. Called front desk finally and the man on duty was unable to help me. He repeatedly told me connect would come up which it never did. All he said was, " it should". Then I attempted to phone this person and was unable to. It wouldn't even take me to an outside line. Again called front desk. Same thing he repeated told me what to do and I repeatedly told him the system was not working. His attitude was as if he didn't care and it was my problem. After more complaining, he finally said he could place the call for me. ??????? Reluctant to help, poor attitude and unfriendly. Found a dirty towel slung over the shower bar, and ac was terribly noisy and ineffective.the shower curtain was torn. Finished with Best Western.

Friendly, clean, good breakfast

Pros: They give you the room you request. Friendly and helpful staff. Breakfast was good
Cons: The small fridge is great but does not have a small freezer compartment to refreeze icepacks for cooler, we were on a long road trip.
Location: Not a lot near by, but good mall and Olive Garden just down the road
We were provided with a king bed as per request, no fuss, unlike other hotels who indicate they have king beds then you get there and they book you in their "standard room" two doubles, and then inform you that yes they have a king bed but there is an up charge, this hotel had no problem and no upcharge. Great experience

Disappointing one-day stay

Pros: As a Platinum Best Western card holder, I always find these hotels to be clean and well maintained. This room was not clean before guest assigned.
Cons: More attention to room presentation BEFORE guest placed in it. Better maintenance attention to heat or A/C provided to guest. No early security denial
Location: My business was conducted in a different city and this hotel was wanted only for rest and sleep before continuing my trip. No clue about area of hotel
Check-in was easy, but the actual viewing of the assigned room found dead bugs on the ottoman and floor near ottoman. A request for a different room was made and Room #2 was provided, closer to lobby, and I was told it was used more often than Room #1. Room #2 was OK, except the heat did not stay on overnight-it turned itself off after several hours and the room was cold in the morning. The bathroom had no visible heat duct or automatic heat source and it was really too cold to take a shower. Sleeping late was my plan with alarm clock set for 11:30 check-out. After first luggage taken out to car, the room key would not permit a re-entry to the building to collect the rest of my items from the room. and a walk to the lobby confirmed the time was before 12 noon. The room cards were checked for usability and OKed by the desk, so a short walk to the room allowed re-entry and personal items were obtained to leave the facility, before 12 noon.

Nice hotel near Interstate

Pros: Location, food options, friendly staff
Cons: A few tweaks to the bathroom setup (No door between shower and sink areas, tub drain faulty) Poor TV reception
Location: Historic area of Marietta OH, shopping, dining
We were able to book a room here via the Expedia phone app while traveling. It was a very nice, clean and comfortable room with a decent restaurant, which we appreciated because we had been driving a long time and didn't want to drive to find another place to eat. Bar was having a karaoke contest that night which was fun to watch. Room was quiet, and complimentary breakfast was good .

Pros: The breakfast bar was fairly good.
Cons: This property really needs an update. Spend some money to try and bring it up to current standard.
This is an older property whose owners obviously don't want to spend a lot of money to bring this hotel into the '90's. Ancient and well-worn fitness equipment, inept staffing and rooms that date back to a time long ago. Right on the highway so quite loud and the restaurant was passable.
