Pros: Staff.
Cons: Room rate discounts.
Location: Right at the bridge over the river. Nine blocks from downtown. Ask at front desk for maps and things to do.
Excellent free breakfast until 10:00 a.m. Small exercise room with towels. Ample free parking. Nice pool. Coffee in lobby 24/7. Comfortable beds. Right at the interstate. Near Lowe's,Walmart, Bob Evans restaurant. No lunch or dinner inside hotel, but we were out and about doing other things and weren't interested in eating all of our meals at the hotel. Maintenance call card to hang on door when leaving for the day. Refrigerator and microwave came in handy.

Somebody has really taken care to this place!

Pros: Historic photographs of the town throughout the hotel.
This was a first time in Marietta for us. It was the midpoint of our trip from MI to SC. The room was impeccable and quite pretty. We were amazed to discover the hotel is 14 years old. We asked because everything looked brand new - even the grout in the bathroom. Staff was helpful and the stay made me determined to book more Hampton Inns. The town seems charming, but we did not have time to investigate.
