Stayed as a stop over. Very clean hotel, staff friendly and room was big and comfortable. Dining options in the hotel and nearby. Had suffered some storm damage but those areas were being redecorated. Highly recommendable.

Very quiet
Very quiet with carpeted hallways so less noise at night. Older hotel but nice bathroom with bath and shower. Big breakfast. Big springy bed rather than a slab of foam. I liked it and was a niee change from my usual hotel in Parma.

Hotel is confidentiality located off the Autostrada, and has plenty of parking. Good WiFi and nice breakfast. Rooms are large, as is the bathroom. A few nice restaurants in the area that are walkable. Parma is a drive.

It’s like if you were on the 60s. Too old, like stocked in the past, we stay in a suite, was pink colores, with fake flowers, smells so clean, however the decoration is 1960s, you think that maybe Elvis will appear on the elevator. the breakfast very bad , i will not recommend this place at all.

A let down
Sounds good and probably was once. Close to autostrade and more like a motorway hotel. Staff were ok but not so helpful if friendly. Out of town.

Super convenient location just off the autostrada. Hotel is rated 4 star but is really only 3 star. Having said that it a good place to stay except that the restaurant was closed on a Saturday evening. There is however a pizzeria just around the corner.

Went for dinner. Waited to be seated for 3 minutes. Totally ignored by staff. So walked out.

Nice hotel. Easy location for travellers. Perhaps a bit out of the way for those without own transport. The staff were very helpful and friendly. Overall, good value for money.

Cheap average hotel - good for motorway
Walls very thin - noisy guests in adjoining room and kids shouting and running along corridor. Room basic. Air con didn't feel cold. Shower small and basic Breakfast room and food no more than ok. States 4 star on sign outside and may meet criteria for 4 star, but not so in my opinion.

Okay hotel.
Bathroom okay. Some stains on the walls and ceiling in room and the water pipes in the walls kept banging or something. It was pretty loud. It was not a bad place just was a one night stop over. Breakfast was okay.

We stayed here as we passed Parma on our way to Milan. Nice hotel, nice staff, restaurants right next door which are open after the hotel's restaurant closes. The only thing is that the Internet is terrible. It normally wouldn't matter but my husband had to do work and had a hard time.

Hotel's internet did not work
Although the accommodations were adequate, I spent over an hour trying to get my PC, iPhone & iPad to connect. I went to the front desk, and it connected there, only to not connect in my room. I was there to work, and work requires the internet. I left at 7am because there was nothing I could do at the hotel.

This was just what I expected it to be. It was a good room for a fair price. Staff was neither overly friendly, nor were they rude. I found the maitre d' in the restaurant pretty clueless, but not a big deal. I enjoyed my meal, and the bar that is attached to the hotel is fun, with great outdoor seating. I would absolutely recommend it to anyone. Also, the bathroom was pretty good.

Okay as a stop gap hotel
Hotel was fine for the money that we paid but I would hate to have spent more than one night here. On a plus side, the breakfast in the morning was fantastic - it was included in the price.Also the bar that looks like its part of the hotel nut actually is not - is brilliant with very reasonably priced cocktails and great service

Quality hotel
This was a well maintained and run establishment. The breakfast was the jewel in the crown - a very comprehensive selection of food which was beautifully presented. Unfortunately, there was a lot of noise until late into the night from some of the guests, which ruined our night's sleep. I would hope that this is a one off occurrence. Otherwise, an excellent night stop.

We used this hotel as a stopover to rome. Overall service, standard of rooms and meals were very good. We went to a local outlet centre which is down the road and that was good. A lot of desgner brands.

Nice hotel
The hotel was very nice. It was a litle secluded from the nearest town Parma. If you have a car it is fine otherwise the cost of getting a taxi into town and back was quite expensive.

Great for a short stay
Hotel San Marco is a great stop over hotel, although an extended stay may become tiresome as it is a little out of the way. Would be ideal for business travellers.
