"The room was clean but we and an end room with a weird barn type door type to the bathroom that was hard to open and close and poor lighting in the room. Last year the breakfast was included and this year it cost $15 per person plus $10 for parking. We had to find out later that there was free parking on the street and the lot next door. The much appreciated ride to the track and back was still available and walking distance to town was also a plus."

"The staff is rude and didn’t wanna help us. The bathroom door in the room locked with no one in it and took over 2 hours for someone to unlock it…. we had to use bathroom in lobby. Asked for extra blanket and got told no. Would NOT stay here again. "

"Hotel appeared recently renovated. Room was clean and comfortable. Only issue was with the service and food when ordering dinner at their “restaurant”. "

"Upon checkin we asked if there was a nice room or upgrade available as I’m Hilton Honors and Expedia Gold, she said no, they were full and she proceeded to issue us a room that was horrible, with three windows on the second floor that started at the hotel AC system and a dirty brick wall.. that was all we saw and heard with workman outside the window at 8 am.. we ate at the rooftop restaurant which was mediocre at best.. the valet staff was very good, other than that, I would say this was one of the worst hotel rooms we’ve ever overpaid for.. this hotel should NOT be in Hilton’s Elevated “Tapestry” Collection, it’s very old and run down. Bathrooms are TINY.. plastic showers! Huge disappointment and we will never be back.. "

"Staff was helpful, breakfast was fine. Scrambled eggs were actually pretty good! Hotel was being renovated so some areas had evidence of work in progress (elevators needed sweeping, etc) and our newly renovated room had no curtains (but did have a light blocking shade) no carpet, no pictures on the wall, very sterile looking. And oddly there were a few ants on our night tables. I suspect some of these issues are temporary. FYI Outside in the back of the hotel there was an attractive pool area."
