There is no way that this is a Three Star Hotel !

WiFi didn't work, got the Gallic shrug when I asked about it. Building is old and crumbling, wires were showing on the lamps. The people running it seemed very nice.

Good location.

Posted Sep 10, 2016
Pros: Location and cleanliness.
Cons: Access to WiFi
Location: Town centre and railway station.
This hotel is a convenient location for the station and the centre of the town. However we found our a room noisy at night and early morning because of traffic noise. The staff were helpful but the WiFi did not work and the staff seemed to accept this situation. The breakfast which cost us extra to the room was limited.

Nice first night in France to start our hol!

About 40 minutes from Calais - or a bit longer on the N roads - nice welcome and nice beer in the bar! (Not cheap though at 13 euros for two pints.) We had a clean, basic room and a huge bathroom as it was equipped for wheelchair use. Not far to the main square which is really nice - bars and restaurants.

Great Place to start your touring holiday

Only 45 minutes from Dunkirk ferry port. Hotel La Btetagne is an excellent place to start or finish a continental motoring holiday. It has excellent staff and a friendly proprietor. There is ample parking in a quiet neighbourhood

Convenient location after crossing the Channel. No air conditioning, however.

Nice hotel for stop over on way to ferry next morning. Large spacious bedroom and en-suite with good shower. 10 min walk to centre of town with lots of bars and restaurants to choose from. Good value.

Nice hotel, ticked most boxes

Posted May 11, 2016
Location: Easy walk into the centre of town.
Close enough to town, good facilities, friendly staff. Bed was comfortable and the room not too tiny for somewhere in that budget range. Not remarkable but just a nice, comfortable, useful port of call when travelling through.
