annual outing!Posted Nov 23, 2015
Location: Next to the Cite d'Europe and 5-10 minutes away from the shuttle. We weren't there long but had a ride up the coast to St Valery sur somme.
Just a quick trip - over on the shuttle one day and back the next. so convenient for shopping at Cite d'Europe. We checked in what we thought was early but were upgraded to executive suite as our room wasn't ready!

Excellent location for the Channel tunnelPosted Sep 28, 2015
Pros: Hotel is well situated within the Calais port complex and close to a shopping mall, food courts, etc. Large car parking available on site.
Cons: If I was exceptionally picky, then real crockery and maybe a greater selection of hot food.
Location: 10 minutes drive from the channel tunnel. Hotel is well situated within the Calais port complex and close to a shopping mall, food courts, etc
Overnight stay prior to travel back to the UK. Hotel is well situated within the Calais port complex and close to a shopping mall, food courts, etc. Large car parking available on site. Approx 10 mins drive to the channel tunnel. Nice room, very clean and comfortable bed. Limited breakfast in respect of hot food but in fairness, only continental breakfast advertised and no complaints there. Great friendly staff. I would stay again so recommendation without exception.

Ideal for a stopover near the Channel TunnelPosted Sep 26, 2015
Pros: Its facilities and its convenient location.
Cons: Arguably needs a facelift.
Location: Right by the French Channel Tunnel terminal and Cité Europe, a superb shopping centre including a hypermarket.
Very surprised to find that for the cost of a budget room we had a suite - an enormous room, large bed, sofa bed, desk and two chairs, bath, shower, microwave, kettle, fridge and coffee maker. And within walking distance of Cité Europe. Yes it's prefabricated, it's functional. But there was free parking, excellent free wifi, large towels (we find most French hotels provide tiny towels), a TV with internet radio, and one of the best buffet breakfasts we had during a month in France. Three things let it down, apart from a rather dated appearance. First reception. The desk was being renovated. We were faced with a sheet of plastic when we entered, with not a clue where reception was. They had not provided any sort of sign, although one appeared later. Second, although we asked for a no smoking room, and were provided with one, someone had been smoking in it. To their credit, when we reported it the staff were has appalled as we were. Third, although free films were advertised on the TV, when we tried them they did not work. But we would not mark down the hotel for what, one hopes, were temporary issues. Value for money was exceptional, and it is a pity Novotel Suites do not appear to be available in the UK.

Good place for a nightPosted Sep 12, 2015
Cons: The bed
Location: The is a big shopping mall in front of you free empty car parks every where near you
If you are traveling between London and Paris by car I think it will be the best place for a night

Pleasant hotel, good locationPosted Aug 26, 2015 on Hotels
Pleasant hotel with clean, comfortable and spacious rooms. It is perfectly situated if you want to shop or dine at Cité Europe. There is a selection of family cafés / restaurants inside the commercial centre. The city centre and the beach of Calais are 15 minutes away by car. It's worth a visit !

Perfect stayoverPosted Aug 9, 2015
Stayed over so we could get the tunnel next morning; great location, just 5 mins from the check-in. The hotel is a new build so very clean and modern and based at the edge of the shopping centre, McDonald's and a few restaurants are directly opposite so easy to get a bite to eat in the evening. The rooms are spacious, clean & comfortable with good bathroom facilities, tea & coffee facilities are also in the room. I wouldn't hesitate to stay here again.

Large room, comfy beds, a little expensivePosted Aug 1, 2015 on Hotels
Rooms are a little dated and could do with a freshen up, but beds were comfortable and room was huge so can't complain. For the price I think that breakfast should have been included, but that is the only complaint. We booked breakfast and had no idea what we'd get, but it was really really good.
