Thanksgiving break

The staff members made us feel special during our stay. Pleasantly surprise with hand decorated desserts brought to our room during check in. Breakfast buffet was great! I would definite come back!

Wonderful!!!

Pros: Great history; be sure to take the 2pm tour.
Cons: They said they had bikes to ride (which we would have loved) but then said they were being repaired.
Location: Great time in Old Pasadena; walking around the nearby residential neighborhood was fantastic.
Beautiful weekend; could not have been better. We loved it!

Not very relaxing! Noisy renovations!

I booked a 2 night stay. I checked in on a Thursday evening and was getting married off the property the next day. I planned my stay because I envisioned a relaxing, stress-free experience. The check-in process was seamless. The ground of the property are breathtaking. The grounds reminded me of why I love Pasadena. We were assigned to room 1102 in the Lanai building. The room had beautiful French doors that lead out to a spacious lanai with a view of the pool. The room itself was disappointing. The decor was extremely dated. The baseboards were dingy and dusty and the carpet was worn. The beds and pillows were uncomfortable. The closet was small and old looking with a very old looking safe that was inoperable. The room was well stocked with toiletries and a mini bar. After settling in, decided to step out on the lanai with my two small children only to be greeted by the smell of marijuana. My daughter complained that the smell was making her sick so we quickly retreated back into the room any closed not only the doors, but the curtains to keep the smell out. After finally falling asleep, I was awakened by a constant banging sound coming from the room above mine. I waited for it to stop. It didn’t. It went on for hours. Called the front desk at 7:30 as the noise was still going on just to be told that security will go up. I called the front desk back about 11and spoke with someone different to report the noise only to be told that the room above was undergoing renovations!

Our Lanai Building is indeed the last of our property-wide guestroom refresh that is being completed, which will address the issues you noted in your room as we are replacing all carpeting, paint, bedding, drapery and more. However, we never want these improvements to disturb our guests, and I am most disappointed to hear that this occurred in your case. Please know that I have spoken with our Engineering Department regarding noise, as well as our Front Office about room placement for guests at check-in, so that we may be more careful to ensure our work does not interfere with any guest stays moving forward. Beautiful hotel in very nice location.

Pros: It's beautiful, elegant, and the staff is wonderful.
Cons: The food at the Terrace Restaurant. The breakfast was good, but overpriced.
Location: Hotel is located in an upscale residential area.
We loved our stay at Langham Huntington. The staff was wonderful. The hotel was beautiful. I gave it a 4 for condition because they are still in the process of renovation, and the carpets in some areas by the rooms are a bit tattered. But our stay there was fabulous. We booked a Huntington Suite which overlooks the courtyard. It was big and had everything you need for a comfortable stay. The bathroom is huge with double sinks, a separate tub (wife) and a large shower (me). We would definitely stay there again.

Nice location

Pros: location
Cons: unclogged tub, smaller towels, firmer pillows
Very close to all restaurants and Colorado strip. Towels are too big to wrap around the head. Our bathroom tub was clogged so we were always in ankle-deep water when we shower. Pillows are way too soft. Very posh and in a quiet setting.

Very nice hotel.

Pros: Grounds, room, neighborhood and live music.
Cons: Better staff the poolside restaurant during breakfast hours.
Location: Rose Bowl and Old Town Pasadena are just a short cab ride away.
Beautiful historic property, yet still very well maintained. Only issue I had was with the poolside restaurant which seemed to be understaffed all the time. Taps Bar had wonderful live music and a festive atmosphere that make it worth a trip even if you are not staying at the hotel.

Enjoyable stay and wonderful welcome. Chocolate covered strawberries and cookies we're waiting upon our arrival. Valet was fast & efficient.

Surprise upgrade to Luxury at its finest.

Pros: Beautiful hotel and grounds, nice restaurants and bar. Attentive and friendly staff.
Location: Hotel shuttle available to go 5 minutes to downtown Pasadena or Rose Bowl parking. Just minutes from LA.
Got a great surprise when checking in for a night to attend a concert. Our deluxe king room had been upgraded to the Presidential Suite! Property has some small buildings in residential neighborhood adjacent to hotel. Very stately and private this upstairs unit in two story house had living room, kitchen, dining room, large master bedroom with office and bath, with large outside patio, lounge area, barbecue, table and chairs with 360 degree views of LA skyline!! We could have had a party for 10 to 20 people comfortably!
