Nice non chain hotel

Posted Sep 13, 2017
Nice hotel that is locally owned I believe. The king suite was large and roomy and very nice bathroom and lovely shower. The carpet showed signs of wear and tear here and there but nothing major. The in house restaurant was very good as well. The only drag about this hotel is its location. Your bedroom window view will be either of the 101 FWY or the hotel's parking lot. It's also across the street from a Target and shopping center which is not very romantic but some might find that convenient. Pretty good sound proofing so did not really hear the FWY while sleeping. I would stay here again for sure. It's about a 7 minute drive into downtown Paso Robles.

No reason to stay anywhere else

Posted Sep 4, 2017
Pros: Clean, comfortable, great staff, great location
Cons: Not sure since I just stayed one night after going to multiple wineries.
Location: Wineries, restaurants, town, all short drive away.
I've stayed here twice and visited Paso Robles twice. My visits were 7 years apart, and I have to say the hotel is in perfect condition, same as it was. We went to town and ate at the most amazing place Fish Gaucho, and we were commenting on the fact that there is absolutely no reason to stay in town. Not sure if there are other more expensive hotels in the area, but this hotel has a high end feel for reasonable price. It's right next to the freeway, but you can't hear anything. Best place to rest your weary head after a day of wine tasting. Rooms are spacious, pleasing to the eye, and beds and pillows are grade A, super comfy. Great shower with plenty of towels. Great products and vanity kit.

25 miles from Pismo beach. Luxurious atmosphere with a welcoming staff. Wife and I now have a favorite stop for our visits to the area. Parking fills fast though.

Room was clean, bed very comfortable. Chocolates on bed a nice touch. Room spa very nice. Room was advertised as a suite, but it's really not a suite with a separate sitting area. All in all though, very nice and definitely would go back. Also, not far from some of the better wineries.

Old world style in new hotel

Posted Aug 30, 2017
When is the last time you walked down the hall of a new hotel and felt like you had stepped back in time? The La Bellaserra has that wonderful feel. Amazingly wide hall ways and rooms that aren't built like a box. It has the wonderful feel of a European resort. We had a great rib eye steak at Enoteca. Excellent selection of local wines. We originally selected La Bellasera on Expedia because it was cheaper than almost all the usual name brands. What a bonus to be rewarded with a great hotel.
