Convenient location, rooms clean and good size, however no distinction between base room and high end other than TV screen and location on the floor. They wanted to charge $38000baht for a late checkout even though we had 4 rooms booked for a week and had stayed with them repeatedly for a number of years. Obviously looking to make money .. exhorbitant by any standards.

Cons. staff will rudely kick everyone you out of the pool at 7pm sharp! swim up bar has no staff, have to wave like your drowning, (annoying). pool side lounges in need of repair or replacing. Bathroom shower had extensive Mould (requested a room change). Pros. room air con works well with an outside temp at 36 degrees. Reception staff are friendly and respond promptly.

I would normally give Deevena Plaza a 10. But we had to ask every day for oir room to be cleaned which was a disappointment. Otherwise nice property

Beautiful swimming pool but not enough Sun loungers. Need to be down at the pool really early to get one as many people put there belongings on them and then go out of off for breakfast. Even though it says not smoking around the pool, lots of people smoking. No one enforced the rules. Also lots of glasses and bottles allowed around and in the pool. Breakfast was great but again no one enforced using tongs and often not enough tongs around to use. The people cleaning tables used the same cloth on every table. Didn’t see any cleaning products used.

Mixed review, we couldn't have been happier with our room. It was spotless, large and the bed was very comfortable (mattress topper) with a large balcony and pool view. The resort itself was a little underwhelming. Staff always seemed a little stressed (not that the individuals were to blame, overall they were very helpful), probably because whatever systems they have in place, made them take on many roles. Breakfast, although having many options, was a disaster. The line for eggs was 15 deep at stages because they only jad 1 poor guy doing it. Don't ask for a poached egg, you either won't get one or they fdrop a pre cooked egg back into hot water, disgusting. Some items like bacon, took 20 minutes to replenish. It was very ho-hum. Don't chrck in after 10(like we did) because you won't get a welcome drink and will have to carry your bags yourself, like we did. Location is ok, 1k from jungceylon, 500m from patong beach and right next door is an open air family run restaurant and juice bar, very cheap and lovely family. Go to malin malin plaza (market) 400m away for dinner for AUD $4 delicious meals. You need to go out of town for most geniune thai meals, you will get ripped off in patong at most places

The property is in good location though it is a bit old and about due for a renovation and upgrading. The staff at the front desk were quite good but housekeeping service was poor. On the first day of doing up room, the floor was not swept or vacuumed. On the second day, the floor was cleaned up but we were not given new towels. When we phoned housekeeping to ask for the towels, they were sent to our room only after more than 1 hour and 3 angry phone calls were made by us to chase for the towels.

Love that the resort is located in Patong where everything is close by and yet far enough from the main nightlife streets so that we don’t get the noise and hooligans. Just 5 mins away is a street food court with great value seafood and authentic Thai dishes. As for the resort itself, the staff, from reception to Thai boxing instructor, were friendly and helpful. Only negative would be housekeeping isn’t as efficient as there was a tray of dishes left outside one of the rooms for the whole duration that we were there. There really nothing much negative I would add (other than the housekeeping incident with the food tray). For the price we paid, the resort has met all our expectations and I would certainly want to come back to this resort again in my next visit to Phuket.

Everything was great except only the towels were replaced each day. The linen was fine as I don’t expect that changed it was just the cleaning of the room wasn’t great. Shower and toilet dirty, soap and moisturiser wasn’t filled regularly. We stayed two weeks and floor was never swept. Otherwise fantastic place!

The room was excellent - very clean and no problems with anything. The hotel provides a couple bottles of water a day and beach towels, which were nice additions to our stay. The pool was one of the best aspects of the hotel, as well as the convenience of the hotel's location - convenience store next door and many restaurants that are in walking distance. Also, staff were very lovely and helpful. On the other hand, the city view we had wasn't great - it was partially obstructed by a tree and behind the tree was just the hotel next door. The pool view would be better, but people will be able to see into your room if you don't have your curtains closed.

Good location and nice staff
Hotel is a little run down and decor is dated. Towels unfortunately were dirty and needed to be replaced each night, however staff were always very friendly and helpful. The restaurant and room service is fantastic and highly recommend the mango sticky rice. Location is good - a little further out from the hustle bustle but still within a short walking distance. Would recommend to friends and family groups

The property was well situated with a family mart next door. The Otop markets about 200 metres down the road and also a coffee club ( I don’t drink coffee but was told the coffee at Deevana wasn’t the best from my companion). The Hard Rock Cafe and Hooters was nearly opposite but far enough away not to be noisy. A 5 to 10 minute walk to the beach and a swim up pool bar. All the staff were very friendly and knowledgeable.

Good location, not far from the beach and Bangla Road. Great sized pool, clean and comfortable rooms. Breakfast was excellent, lots of variety. Highlight were the staff, they were exceptional :) Definitely recommend this hotel.

Nice hotel with excellent swimming pool. The lighting in the room is very poor. It has numerous small lights which makes for quite a puzzle trying to turn them all off at night. Breakfast is good, but the hotel needs to control the numerous Indian people that don't seem to understand the concept of standing in line waiting to order eggs.. This was the same as last year. The hotel needs to to have some one at the head of the line,that makes sure people don't just butt in the front of the line.
