Pros: location and view
Cons: replace the carpet in the hallway you can afford it
Location: close to the beach. Great shopping mall. (Singles) lot of go-go bars near by and walking street not very far
the hotel location is great. the view from room is amazing. the room is clean. the hallway carpet of floor I was in was dirty and disgusting like 1 star hotel, very disappointing.

Wud love to come back

Posted Dec 17, 2016 on Hotels
Stayed here just for a day but would surely love to come back for a vacation. The infinity pool at the hotels 16th floor with amazing views of Pattaya skyline and the deep blue waters certainly demands more visits.

Just give it a try!

This was our 3rd trip to pattaya and first stay at the hilton. Externally, hotel is clearly the most classy and prestigious in the beach road area as it looms above all other buildings while brandishing the "Hilton" name. Because of this I never chose the hilton previously. Maybe I thought it was too classy for me? Haha.. At any rate we finally tried it. Check in took a little longer than expected; around 10 mins. But you do get a small welcome drink, some sort of blue flower juice or something. Upon entering the room we we shocked and excited with how nice it was. Online, the rooms look kind of basic and empty. In person, I could see that they are just simple (but in a good way). It is a special simplicity that is extremely elegant and comforting. Large rm, balcony, comfortable bed, very large bathroom with tub and shower. Additionally every employee you meet is extremely kind. The gym is great here as well and usually pretty quiet. I was on the treadmil running and a worker literally came in just to give me a towel... Pretty cool.. After working out, the pool is right around the corner. Very nice with a great few. And once again the staff is great. Nice service and reasonably priced beverages. Lastly, I recommend getting a rm with breakfast included. The price per night is roughly 30USD more. If you want to pay for breakfast without being included in your rm package it is 2000 thai baht which is closer to 60USD.

The WiFi is super bad for the price and the name of the Hotel, the hotel shows its age and it needs to be refreshed (the paint, touched up looks ready bad, wall papers are pulling off, furnitures are chipped, TV is old and very dim picture, the light fixtures are burned out) other than that the foods and services are great.

Best hotel in Pattaya but is a bit chintzy

Posted Oct 25, 2016 on Orbitz
Pros: 1. Most stunning hotel pool in Pattaya, possibly Thailand. 2. Hotel is next to Central Festival and even shares elevators with it - the one place in Pattaya where everyone goes to during the day. 3. Best breakfast buffet in Pattaya (but $$$). These three pros are such big ones, they outweigh all the cons.
Cons: 1. The longest check-in time of your life - you will grow old waiting for your keys. Our check in clocked in at 1 hr 45 mins. They ask for way too much information, including the exact same information (like my email) which they demanded from me when I stayed here 6 weeks ago. The lukewarm welcome drink needs to be replaced with something nicer - yuck. We left our bags downstairs when we finally got our keys and were told the bags would be sent up - that added another 45 mins to the check in since the bags took forever to arrive and I had to call the front desk 3 times to see what happened to them. 2. Despite being a supposedly classy place they try to squeeze more money from you at every opportunity - nothing is free. If you want a DVD player in your (7,000 baht a night) room you have to pay 550 baht ($16USD) PER NIGHT. The TV selection is terrible also, one lousy movie channel showing garbage films that flopped years ago and there is no CNN - and forget using a USB stick in the TV, the units are about 15 years old. 3. They didn't make any effort to show that they remembered me from 6 wks ago - not one single acknowledgment, like a simple 'Welcome back, sir.' 4. Everything in the hotel is expensive, from a beer to a snack. This is a hotel for the rich. If you book, be prepared to spend more money all day long here.
Location: It is the middle of Pattaya, with the ocean right there and it is adjacent to Central Festival, the big and only mall really in town.
