The front staff are absolutely rude with very limited customer service. On day of check out, the lady at the front desk calls my room at 12:02 (2 minutes after check out) and was yelling "you miss check out time, what time you check out" and rudely hung up the phone on me. The gym equipment is very old and rusted, I almost injured myself using the iron smith machine. So their gym is useless, they only advertise it online as an extra facility to gain customers. It worked on me but i regretted it. I ended up signing up to coco fitness for a 5 day pass. The room was filthy, under the bed is full of dust and garbage. The cleaners only clean where you can see. The carpets on the floor of the hallway have stains and mold. I felt like I stayed in a hostel.

The property is generally run down. I booked.2 nights. When i got there. I felt it best to forget about it and booked to a nice place at less cost. The rooms are big, thats a plus. I dont see the value for money. I was surprised to see the condition of the building

It’s supposedly a 4 star hotel, but it’s far from that. It def shows wear and tear and lack of maintenance. Even for the price, I expected a little bit nicer quality. The location is great and walkable to just about everything. There’s outside noise throughout the night, but that’s because you’re next to Soi 6 and should be expected. The staff were nice and professional

Good value for the price. Room was clean. Close to beach. Breakfast was ok but food is not kept hot. Defective room safe not a big deal. Bathroom sink sprayed water when at higher setting. For some unknown reason various room lights would automatically turn on during the night or early morning. I would stay here again if I was wanting to save a bit of money. Overall a decent budget hotel with a nice king size bed and balcony and near the beach.

it's the luck of the draw, good location
2 positives here, the location of our room was perfect👍 see sunset picture, The bed was very comfortable😘 2 negatives, 1 check-in staff was the worst,how dose she still have a job? The shower leaked all over the bathroom,very poorly designed shower head, we had to get a raised bath mat so we weren't walking in water, Neutral feedback, breakfast was so so, pool was well kept Parking was no stress

Loved it!
I really enjoyed my stay here. The room was a good size, clean and in good condition. It had a great balcony and I loved the view of the sea. Easy location for quick access to the beach. I'd definitely like to stay again!

To start with, the hotel staff were fantastic! We could not ask for a nicer welcome. Unfortunately, that is where the positives end. When we entered our room, there were puddles of water all over the floor which were quickly cleaned up but came back later. The air conditioner struggled to cool the room and it was never quite comfortable temperature wise. When taking a shower, the hot water never worked and due to the design of the shower, the entire bathroom floor flooded with each use. The towels were old and in bad condition. We called maintenance to inquire about the hot water, he came up and said let it run for 10 minutes but it never warmed up. We decided to cut our losses and book the remainder of our stay at another facility.

Cheap but not clean.
Pics looked good on the website but the room was old and the floors were dirty. The hallway carpets smelled but we did get a good sleep on the soft beds. I wouldn't stay here again though.

disgusting, very poor, and cockroaches everywhere and blood stains on towels. Definitely not recommended. Staff are nice though, not much they can do since the hotel is outdated and located near an abandoned site.

- Close proximity to the beach; - Lovely views of Pattaya from the top floor; - Pleasant and friendly staff. Hotel Selection is a bit dated and pool area had a bad smell, but if you're after cheap accommodation, close to the beach with only a short walk or songteaw ride to the busier nightlife areas of Pattaya, this hotel is fine.

The air-con is cool enough. There is just a glass wall to separate the shower and the washroom, it let the floor get wet after taking a shower.

Nice spacious room with a balcony that has views beachside. Great to watch the sunset in the late afternoon.

Gym and pool need a little something to make this a better experience. Bathrooms are tub shower and wet room, it is a confused mix that doesn't really work. Staff and overall facilities are superb. Price and location cannot be faulted.

I enjoyed staying at hotel Selection... great location and amenities .. however I had booked the wrong dates and contacted the hotel to change my week ... they refused point blank to help me so as a result I will not be staying there again... there are plenty of good hotels in Pattaya

Old furniture. Shower tab is not portable and little water come out. No partitions for shower room and toilet so when shower all toilet room is flooded. Need to repaint the Benglony. And have one bar to let cloth dry outside. Location is really good, near to shops, food, and the beach. Will be back, I hope the room conditions would better next time.

Facilities & staff subpar, but location good
Facilities are old, but had a bandaid renovation. Certain little things updated, but clearly not everything. Has an uneven feel as a result. Light switches updated so they could be remotely controlled. Still some stains (mold?) on countertops, etc. Cabinets very old and creaky. A "queen" bed was just two doubles pushed together. Hated the split in the middle. Staff has an attitude. Not very friendly, which is odd in Thailand, Pattaya in particular. They were particularly rude to my Thai companion. I can't remember an instance that was positive, even with my dealings with them. Most of the other patrons were Indian, and the morning buffet caters to them. BTW the morning breakfast buffet is horrible. Quality of the food is very low. Don't waste your money. All the money on renovations was spent on the hallways, and lobby, it seems. Has a modern look. That doesn't translate to the rooms, unfortunately. Location is great though.
