This is an older but very well maintained property in town. Terminal 21 is right down the street and the beach is only about a 10 minute ride away. I really like this place because of its central location and reasonable price. The place is clean, the breakfast is decent and the staff is great.

We stayed in the large size suite. The hotel is a little dated, so the air-conditioning can be a little problematic. But the hotel is clean, comfortable and the staff are friendly

I've stayed at Mantra Pura numerous times, but it's really gone downhill. Shower water either scolding or freezing, no middle ground, and the shower head wasn't stable, it kept bizarrely twisting around when on. The safe didn't work, the breakfast was bland, the Chinese tourists at the breakfast buffet deplorable although that's not on the hotel you should be aware its mostly Chinese tour groups that stay here. Pool is still nice and a lot of sun. Gym equipment falling apart, however. All in all: the are better hotels in Pattaya for less money.

Nice hotel that could be much better
I stayed here for 7 days. The room was spacious and comfortable but quite noisy (on main road). The pool looked spectacular but the water quality was poor. Actually, very acidic. I informed staff and the water quality may have improved slightly but still no where near good. Breakfast was plentiful but COLD. The breakfast buffet was set up nicely in modern Bain Marie type containers but the burners were covered in foil so they could not be used. Breakfast may have been ok T 7am but when it closed ar 11am it was disgusting. The eggs were cooked in advance and left sitting forever - yuk. One young member of the breakfast staff was smiley and helpful. The remaining 6 or 7 were miserable sad sacks. A smile would have broken their faces. A poor effort. Reception staff were good.

Stayed in Pattaya more than 4 times...this was the worst so far. Not change sheets for maybe 6 days never mopped at all or wipe over...really bad.

Lovely hotel, rooms surround the pool, beautiful outlook. Gorgeous helpful Tai in reception, couldn't have helped more. Definitely have found my 'go back to' residence.

AVOID, IF YOU'RE SMART
On checking in we were informed that the swimming pool ( one of the main reasons for our holiday ) was being renovated for three months and was therefore not available for the duration of our vacation. By the third night my husband was covered in insect bites which initially we put down to mosquitos, but we then saw another room being fumigated so we concluded that there is a problem with bed bugs . One day , the lift was out of service so we had to use the stairs ( our room was fourth floor ) All in all we were totally underwhelmed with this poor hotel .
