Nice, Calm and Staff were friendly and helpful

Posted Apr 16, 2017
Pros: Location, service
Cons: There are no activity much, particularity for children. It will be good if the hotel equips plaything (likes mini slider).
Location: There is a temple located good view point nearby the entrance.
We visited during Song Karn Festival which was high season. The hotel staffs could well-managed with a lot of guests. The hotel is located not far away from congested area in Pattaya South-North. If you want to ease up, this place is recommended. During staying, staffs were very friendly, high service-minded and helpful.

Nice hotel

Posted Apr 1, 2017
Hotel is very nice, very clean, beautiful view, very nice pool and very nice private beach. There are a lot of bar and eating place but the price is higher. The location is good but a little far to the center of the city. You may need a car to go to other place such shipping or other fun place.

Expensive hotel

Posted Feb 13, 2017
Pros: Pool area
Cons: New chefs
Location: Poor location. Taxi's required for attractions.
Expensive hotel with uncomfortable beds and taste less expensive food. The staff were unhelpful and if you needed something done they had to be pressed. They were concern getting the money or credit cards details off you. Overall a disappointing stay for an apparent five star hotel.

Fine resort with a large range of accommodation

Posted Feb 7, 2017
Pros: The resort's Fitz Club, with its landscaped pool area, is a peaceful oasis if you fancy a change from the busier pools that overlook sea and beach.
Cons: Nothing, really
The Royal Cliff Resort consists of several 5 star hotels on the same property, with the Royal Cliff Beach Hotel being the lowest-priced option. I stayed in a sea-view plus suite, which was very comfortable, clean, with a balcony and a recently upgraded bathroom (hence the 'plus' bit). Couldn't fault it. Safe in room, plenty of amenities incl. Tea/Coffee facilities and beach towels, robes etc. All the staff were friendly, professional and courteous, as you can expect in upmarket Thailand Hotels. The choice of dining and bars was extensive. We splashed out on a very fine dinner in the steak restaurant one evening. There's a shuttle bus into town, but like most of the little extras, there was a small charge for this use. The Royal Cliff Hotels are popular for conventions and weddings, both of which can dominate the ambience somewhat, but this didn't bother me.
