Very good
Hotel is old but in a perfect location, in quiet street and very close to beach road. Breakfast is very good, and worth of money.Its my second stay in this hotel and I will be come back again.

The hotel is very nice location and the room is good condition and competitive price with complimentary FIWI, Easy to work to the beach and central department store. Staff is friendly and helpful. I will come back it again for sure.

The room was a supposed upgrade but stunk of mildew. I had to sign a waiver, agreeing to accept the risks of the upgrade. They even have a ready made pd for the waiver. Who does this? And especially enough to warrant having special forms made up. Also the top bed sheet was `1 foot from the bottom so your toes made contact with the blanket. I'm 64 and have made a LOT of beds and this simply does NOT happen unless you are messing with someone. This whole experience was a bad joke and I will never use them again.

By far the dirtiest bathroom of any hotel I have stayed in, traveling asia for 1 month new place every few days, all hotels ~40$night. Mold in this bathroom and just disgusting. Allmost bailed on the hotel because of it. Hotel needs renovating. Others are much cleaner and better price.

older hotel, some maintenance not quite up to par
Had to change rooms due to gap at door knob side of door that you could see through and lockset was exposed. Second room was same old problems, mold in the tile grout and shower curtain. Other issues that would be a little harder to fix is the channel around the outside of the tub lets the water flow onto the floor and creates a big puddle.

Great location for a low price!
Just a block from the beach & the ritzy Central Mall. Older hotel but very friendly staff, suggest you bring your own toiletry items. Perfect place to stay if you want to minimize hotel cost!

Basic repairs go unattended.
Had to change rooms 2 times in the first day, and probably should have changed again. A door opening and hitting the floor after opening 8 inches is pretty easy to fix, yet has not been done. Air conditioner dripping noise kept me awake the first night so I requested a different room. Next room had electrical problems, light would not always go on right away, sometimes had to wait 10 minutes. Sometimes lights did not go out after leaving room. Old antiquated system. I shouldn't be the one to point out simple little things that go either unnoticed or not fixed like the toilet seat not staying up easily and having to hold it up for a little bit to make sure it would stay up.

Don't recommended to stay to any reason. Condition of rooms and smell is horrable. Hotel rooms and condition looks like hotel last century 1960... Hotel stuff don't frendly and don't speak english very well or looks like don't speak english because all our requests ignoring.

A very good but old hotel
It was a good hotel for those people on a budget. It was guest friendly and the staff at the hotel were wonderful and could understand English. It was right in the middle of all the action everything was in walking distance. Transport links were good either by taxi or by mini bus but did not take long to walk anywhere. All inclusive breakfast was good but was the same every day but to eat breakfast outside the hotel was cheap enough. Plenty of currency exchange shops to get the thai Baht

Please never go to the hotel again. Hotel Rooms are not same like expedia photo, they given very very small rooms, I asked them to change the room, they told me to pay 600 Bhat per day extra, They didnt do redund. we payed extra Bhat 600 X 4 = 2400 Bhat extra, to get better room 1. In fact we were pretty much happy by viewing the photos of Hotel room, but in fact its just dead opposite to that. Very horrible in condition ,congested & lack of ventilation. When spoken about the picture what shown in Website,rudely responded better check with Expedia.

Problems with first room, door scraping on floor just before closing, knob and latch difficult to turn when locked, lots of black mold in bathroom. Moved to another room, had to have shower head cleaned out and adjustment for when hot water turns off, was turning off too soon, which they fixed the next day.

Affordable hotel 150 yards from Pattaya Beach
I have stayed at the Seaview before and enjoyed my stay. The hotel is the same and only 2 issues arose while I was there. 1) The breakfast was disappointing in that the buffet heated only 3 items and ommitted keeping the fried eggs warm. NOTHING IS WORSE THAN EATING A COLD EGG. 2) I had to deposit 1000 baht for the room of which I was given only 500 baht back at the end of my stay with no explanation.(I did not catch this till I was on my way to the airport) I will stay at the Seaview again but will not pay for the breakfast buffet to be included in my Expedia package.
