Great Location

Posted Nov 2, 2017
Pros: Location and cleanliness. There was an area where you could print off your laptop.
Cons: There was some difficulty with the electronic key system. The hotel was aware of this and perhaps are addressing it...
Location: See above.
At this time of posting the hotel is under renovations including the fitness center. The breakfast buffet was convenient and offered several options for all. The ocean and beach are a short drive away. Brookgreen Gardensnearby is not to be missed. Other historic houses and plantations are in the area. For golfers, many options abound. A few restaurants, a grocery store, Starbucks, etc are a short walk directly across Willbrook Blvd. on the Litchfield Resort development.

Nice hotel just off Highway 17

Posted Oct 24, 2017
Pros: I liked the location, the room, the staff, the cookies, and the breakfast.
Cons: Nothing could be improved except the price--$50 more than the location where we stayed on the return trip (on a different route).
Location: We checked in. We napped, We ate. We slept. We left.
The hotel is conveniently located just off Highway 17 near some very good restaurants. The staff was personable. The room was clean and comfy with a king bed and perfect pillows. The breakfast was so-so. My husband didn't like the turkey sausage. He's a full-fat kind of guy who never gains weight and has perfect cholesterol and blood pressure levels.

Pretty setting.

Checkin clerk was not good. Told us and other guests to park at the end of the hotel when our rooms were just off the lobby. This hotel has NO BEACH ACCESS. You must drive to a public beach access point. Great breakfast. Nice pool.

UNDER CONSTRUCTION

Posted Jul 22, 2017
We were treated like crap. I travelled with my family from South Jersey, 9 hour ride. Get to the hotel and was squeezed into a small room with two adults and 3 kids. Originally ordered a cot for the room and was told it wasnt available. Complained on the first day and was told to complain in the morning. We complained and was told maybe by early evening our new room would be ready. We were told we would be put in a room on the 1st floor room 129 and was later told we would be on the 2nd floor next to construction with no use of an elevator. Then for two days we had no water. So unhappy. Will never book with expedia or Hampton Inn again!
