Love this resort!!

Pros: The location, food, drinks, entertainment and the friendly staff
Cons: Food service usually took 40 minutes. The elevator didn't work half of the time but we were on the 2nd floor so no big deal to just use the stairs.
I absolutely love this resort!! The location is perfect..right on the beach and within walking distance to downtown. The food and drinks are great! The pools are clean with fun entertainment and the nightlife is great as well. Most importantly the staff is amazing..always happy to help with any needs you may have. This was our second time at the Sandos Finisterra and we will stay there the next time we are in Cabo San Lucas too! I can't say enough good things about this resort!

Had a great stay and experience here. Staff was always friendly. Despite what some have written about food I always enjoyed my meals. I have been at lots of other resorts and feel this one was very very nice for the price. Great views of both the ocean on one side and the Cabo marina on the other. Royal Elite pool is a great location to chill with outstanding drinks and bar service from Ismail. Other pools are awesome but I found drinks not nearly as well made. Pizza oven at pools was just awesome. Resort was not super busy the week we were there so it had a pretty cool personal feel. They do not play the “Mexican Towel game” here, which I personally LOVE!!! Hotel policy is you can only reserve chairs for 30 minutes. If you don t come back and use them the hotel staff will remove them to allow guests who do want to use them have them. They do offer a vacation club , which they call Royal Elite....you do not have to join or I get involved in any way but some of the perks and options are really nice. Go enjoy the Sandos-I did!!!!!

Above average for all inclusive staff goes above and beyond to accommodate Visit Jesus wherever he is beach or lobby bar Enjoy the pools !

Beautiful hotel with a great view!

Pros: The hotel is amazing, everything is close no long walks across the resort
Location: Marina is a few short steps away!!! Take boats from there, swim with the dolphins or water taxi to the Mango Deck
This is the second year our group stayed at this resort. We love the hotel, the accommodations and the staff. Federico from the spa was great in addition to Joel and the bar by the pool. Estela was our concierge and she was readily available. Sergio Benitez organized a dinner on the beach for our group that was beyond amazing!!!

Not as good as the first time.

If Fernando would have been serving the pool areas it probably would have been just as good as the first. For some reason Fernando was work at the restaurant during the day. He was the hardest working server I’ve had in all my trips to Cabo and the reason we went back to the Sandos. It was disappointing to not see him being out among the people having shinning as bright as he did last time.

Some staff should treat everyone the same as customer. It is a relaxing place to be on vacation so I expect everyone in the world should be welcome and comfortable around the resort. It is very big hotel so I expect the sauna room should be little bigger. I definitely come back to this place but I hope it gets a better feeling comparing with my past experiences.

Would Come Back!

Pros: The cleanliness, variety of food & friendly staff.
Cons: We don't think anything needed improvement. We had a great stay!
Location: The resort is within walking distance of the Marina & Downtown Cabo, what more could you ask for.
This hotel was great. The room was clean, mini bar was stocked daily with beers & sodas & generous in size. It overlooked the grounds and they were prestine. The entertainment was fun, they had something for everyone from music to, acrobatics. The food was good with quite a bit of variety. Would recommend the Italian restaurant & Don Diegos...food was great. The wait staff at the pools were friendly & attentive. We really want to thank Paul & Norma for great service. The lobby bar was really cool. The staff members were attentive and very friendly to us. We would definitely come back here again! Thank you for a great vacation! Your resort is by far the best, we have stayed at & we've been to Cabo 5 times!

5th stay in Mexico

The room and property was beautiful that’s where the good part ends. The elevator has been broken according to reading previous reviews since mid September. How long does it take to fix things. Meanwhile due to elevator issue we had to travel up and down 7 flights of stairs. Good thing was we didn’t gain weight this trip. Food was also bad. We went in town every night for food. This was another positive that the resort overlooked the marina. The wait for drinks at the swim up bar was painfully long. They were too busy worrying about cutting fruit and cleaning floors to worry about the guest. They hid the good liquor and “ran” out when you saw it with your own eyes as they put it back under the counter. I’ve been to a lot of resorts and this was by far the worst

Resort is really nice but the staff is what makes it great!!! Alfredo was so helpful and nice!!!! Always there to help. Javier at Agave was really nice. These 2 were my favorites. Thank you for everything
