The Resort at Pedregal was one of the finest resorts I've ever experienced. The setting was magical, and the staff was exceptional from the concierge to the maids. There were several lovely touches, as in guacamole and beer in the room in the afternoon and the complementary bottle tequila was an exquisite touch.

we had a great time at El Nido. The owners are super friendly and helpful. Breakfast was superb and made fresh. The rooms are very comfortable and secure. The only negative thing I can say is there is road noise in the morning as the locals are heading to work. Ear plugs are very helpful. I would definitely recommend this place.

"Quaint hotel close to downtown and some great food"
My wife and I stayed at The Bungalows for three nights at the end of December. This hotel is a great value and provides a comfortable place to stay with a very welcoming and hard working staff. The hotel is very clean and well maintained, although the facility itself is older. We really enjoyed our stay, it is a short walk to downtown, great restaurants, shopping, and beaches. The morning breakfast, provided complimentary by the hotel, is absolutely great.

It's a nice, smaller, out-of-way, boutique hotel. It's very clean, but the furnishings are slightly dated. The pools are marvelous and heated. If it had a better choice of restaurants, we would have rated it a solid 5!

Castillo Blarney was just wonderful! It was the first time either of us had been to Cabo. The owner, Brian, called me a few days before our trip to touch base with us, and give us some useful tips and pointers, which I very much appreciated! He told me the names of the staff and about the other couples that would be there during our stay... I felt like I knew these people before I had even met them.
The hotel (more like a villa) has some hurricane damage, but you could tell how beautiful it is, even with the peeling paint. There is stone work everywhere, with bridges, and even cannons... It is literally a castle!
There are only 6 or 7 rooms total, but we loved the intimate feel of it. Our room was huge, with a FULL kitchen, and large balcony overlooking the pool. The pool isn't huge, but it's quite beautiful. The views of downtown and the ocean are breathtaking, but you are pretty far from the beaches. Breakfast is made fresh for you every morning, whatever your heart desires!
We had friends staying at a really fancy resort just down the road from us, and as convenient as modern amenities are (TV, granite counters, carpet), we both agreed that we liked our hotel better than theirs.
Overall, we had the best time and would recommend Castillo Blarney to anyone and everyone! We cannot wait to go back!

Our family really enjoyed our 3 night stay at the San Angel Suites. We are all adults and had two rooms, both with full kitchen, queen size beds, and showers with lots of hot water. It was a bargain and I was pleased to find it; charming appearance, two stories, nicely landscaped with balconies, table and chairs and gas barbecue in the common patio. Lots of TV channels, Wi-fi was great.

"Spectacular views, overall could have been better"
We stayed in villa 34 at Montecristo. The views were amazing! Private pool and hot tub was incredible. We booked with an all inclusive plan. Spent most of time at our villa or Peublo Bonito Sunset resort. The views from the Sky pool, the food and service was world class.
The one day we ventured to Peublo Bonito Rose, but was not able to book ride back on free shuttle and had to pay for taxi. Unfortunately, it was inconvenient to get anywhere. You needed to call for shuttle to take you so far, then wait for a golf cart to take you the rest of the way. With the incredible views, come steep mountain side that was difficult to walk down and way too difficult to walk up.
We had a mix of restaurant experiences, from amazing at Zao Shen, to average at Bistro, to horrible at Sunset Sushi where we experienced our worst dining experience ever. We were told 45 minute wait, after an hour and half wait, we were finally seated. We were informed that 5 items on menu were out. After an hour, and 2 of our party of 5 being served and finished eating, the remaining were brought dinners that were not ordered because they had run out of everything. 4 hours of our vacation wasted.
Villa had a full kitchen, but no bottled water or basic coffee in room. Had to order room service several times a day to get basic items. Were told that we could only order 2 beverages per person on each order.
The views were amazing from our villa, but had several issues at check-in that should n

Overall, experience was good. Just three gripes:
1) Had a hard time finding the hotel because of the change of names and new sign isn't up yet.
2) Only 5 of the TV stations were in English
3) Had issues with the Jacuzzi on the balcony initially...then they fixed (or showed us which buttons needed to be turned on). But then it wouldn't warm up and we thought it was still broke. They kept saying they were going to send someone to the room but they didn't show. We finally figured out that it takes 4-5 hours for the Jacuzzi to warm up
