This was a quick trip over a long weekend. The staff was great. The service was by far the best I've received. The bathtub - seriously! About 3 or 4 blocks to Cabo Wabo Cantina. Short walk to the marina. We had a great time!!

We only went to Cabo because of a wedding and were not interested in staying in a resort that would be the same as you could find in the US. We were excited when we found this place. It was so lovely and felt like an authentic Mexican experience. An added bonus are the onsite owners who cooked us breakfast and helped us with any travel questions. Please note that the rooms are open air so it was a little noisy at night but the hotel thoughtfully provides ear plugs.

This hotel is in a great location - about a 10 minute walk from downtown and away from the other resorts, so it's more peaceful. We enjoyed the walk to town because we were eating so much amazing food all the time! When you're dropped off, the owner, Erik, is so welcoming and gives everyone a hug. We were mother and daughter traveling together and the smallest room available was perfect for us, with a master bed and also a day bed that could be used as a couch too.The larger units are beautiful and have a porch with hammocks, and they would be perfect for a family or larger groups.
There is a small pool that was never busy and we made lots of friends chatting with other travelers. The breakfast included was absolutely amazing and healthy - fresh fruit smoothies and tons of gourmet food. They are really accommodating for dietary restrictions/preferences too. We usually had a small snack for lunch and then there are tons of great, affordable restaurants nearby. Besides the breakfast, the best thing about this hotel was the staff. Erik, David, and the rest of the staff were so friendly and made us feel at home as soon as we arrived. I can't wait to return and I would not stay anywhere else besides here in Cabo.

Castillo Blarney was just wonderful! It was the first time either of us had been to Cabo. The owner, Brian, called me a few days before our trip to touch base with us, and give us some useful tips and pointers, which I very much appreciated! He told me the names of the staff and about the other couples that would be there during our stay... I felt like I knew these people before I had even met them.
The hotel (more like a villa) has some hurricane damage, but you could tell how beautiful it is, even with the peeling paint. There is stone work everywhere, with bridges, and even cannons... It is literally a castle!
There are only 6 or 7 rooms total, but we loved the intimate feel of it. Our room was huge, with a FULL kitchen, and large balcony overlooking the pool. The pool isn't huge, but it's quite beautiful. The views of downtown and the ocean are breathtaking, but you are pretty far from the beaches. Breakfast is made fresh for you every morning, whatever your heart desires!
We had friends staying at a really fancy resort just down the road from us, and as convenient as modern amenities are (TV, granite counters, carpet), we both agreed that we liked our hotel better than theirs.
Overall, we had the best time and would recommend Castillo Blarney to anyone and everyone! We cannot wait to go back!

The views are beautiful. Huge hotel- you have to wait for golf carts to take you from one place to another-we were not fans. Although it was helpful its a bit annoying having to call ahead to get a golf cart to go to pool or just grab coffee.

When we first got to the hotel we were given a standard room with views to the marina. However, our reservation said jr. suit ocean view. Staff told us to wait until the following day to see if they could find another room. The Jr.. Suite they were trying to give us was worst then our previous room so I complaint to the manager and he gave us an upgrade. Everything was extraordinary after that! Staff was super attentive and friendly! We really enjoy our stay and we will be back!

"Best vacation spot EVER! Barely left the property."
The villas are amazing. From the view to the staff, there was nothing left to be desired. I can't even describe what Cabos was like because we barely left the property. This was an annual girlfriends trip, and now all of us are excited to take our families. Can't wait to get back.
