The hotel is clean and well appointed; staff were friendly and helpful. The rooms were very comfortable and appropriately priced for the quality on offer. The hotel is very handily placed for the city centre and train station. On the minus side, customer service could in places be improved. We were made on one occasion to feel like a bit of a nuisance for booking a restaurant table which we had been told was free on Christmas Eve; the swimming pool is unavailable during much of the daytime when a guest might wish to use it, opening only around the times when one generally wishes to eat.

We traveled with two small children and the staff made them feel important. Fredreich at the front desk spent time with them when we checked in and also later in the evening. Also we were allowed to check out late so the kids could swim after breakfast.

The location is perfect, room is well decorated, breakfast is great and service impeccable. A minor issue was the noise of the air conditioning but it's pethaps to my sensitive ears. A special thanks to the duty manager Mr Hassan who has offered me a cup of coffee while I am waiting for my family

Five minutes’ walk from the main rail station and perfect for exploring central Leipzig and beyond. The staff were extra helpful in English or German; the room was very comfortable, with extras such as an electric kettle and a safe for valuables. WiFi access was easy and breakfast was varied and excellent.

The location of the Hotel was great, right near the train station and the downtown shops and restaurants. While the parking garage was conveniently located in the hotel basement, the price was quite high at 25 euros a day.

The hotel was very nice. The bar and restaurant also were good. Expensive, but good. The TV in my room (or the remote) didn't work unless you pushed random buttons on the remote, which I didn't figure out until someone came to my room to try to fix the TV. I didn't think the TV was that good of quality. Other than that, the stay was great and the Christmas market was right outside the hotel, down the street.

The rooms were clean and the staff very friendly but the choice of food was limited as the main restaurant and champions sports bar was closed and the only option for food was from the foyer bar

A German hotel (decently priced) with a pool & whirlpool and air conditioning?!? It was so nice. It’s a 15 minute walk to the zoo but it’s not bad. Coffee shops around the corner. The massive mall is across the street. Best hotel I’ve stayed at in Germany so far.

Beautiful hotel!
Top notch. Been here for 3 weeks moving around and by far, the most comfortable bed AND pillows we found. It is reall located across the street from the train station. Cross the street, bear right (ignore signs on wall saying 50 meters this way) then left. Front door is on the other side of the building. Look at address and just walk 50 meters down that street. Front desk is fluent in English and leaned forward to help when my wife didn't feel well. Everyone was very personable! Just a couple of blocks from amazing dining and shopping. Loved the alley ways! We'll be back next year for a longer stay! Worth every penney!

We love Leipzig!
Absolutely beautiful. Front desk personnel fluent in english. Walk out front of train station and look up to the right. You'll see the Marriot signage. The Marriot 50 METERS arrow is on the wrong side. Cross street, go to right of block, then turn left. Center of town is a couple blocks away. Great restaurants, shopping, sightseeing. Do explore the Passages in the middle of the blocks.
