It was a weekend stay.

Pros: The location was convienent for us.
Cons: As mentioned - the noise level was too high in my opinion.
Location: This was a winter get away - not too much to do outside!!!!
The breakfasts were very tasty and a plentiful. The building itself is not very sound proof. We heard every movement made above us during the night.

Good clean hotel. Wish the pillows were better. Over all a very nice, clean, welcoming hotel. Loving accommodation to small animals too.

no reservation made by expedia

Posted Jul 27, 2014
Cons: expedia could actually make reservations
since expedia never bothered to actually reserve our hotel room we cannot comment on the stay. I can however comment as to the incredible helpfulness of the manager in finding us a hotel room in a neighbouring town. expedia sucks, no reservation, no response to several emails, and persistent requests to rate a hotel they didn't bother to book us in.

This hotel was OK, but not great.

Posted Jul 11, 2014
Pros: Close to town, and fairly quiet.
Cons: Towels, cutlery, pillow top mattress.
The towels were rather thin, the bed was OK but not to die for. Did not notice that there was WiFi. Hotel lobby was just barely Ok. Breakfast was Ok, real cutlery would have bee nice. Overall, qute acceptable, but if there was a better quality place nearby, would choose someplace else next time.

terrible Have more to say what they did

Posted Mar 4, 2014
My experience was awful I had checked with the 1 800 number to see if it was ok that we stay till 2 or3 on sunday cause my mom's brother's funeral was late and they checked with hotel and said it was ok when we checked in I also checked with the clerk and she said you will owe 128 when you leave . I asked if that included us staying till 2 or 3 and she said yes. I told her I didn't want any mishaps tomorrow and she said don't worry you are good. around 10:30 the lever on the toilet broke and I went to the desk and Lu was I said the lever on my toilet broke and I don't know wether you have a maintenance guy on or emergency plumber or even if he had another room on main kevel cause my 93 year old aunt in a walker was staying with us. He said their are no rooms and I would have to pay the plumber I said no he said you broke it you pay for it. after 10 mins arguing he says the room beside us is empty and he would have to clean it. I said ok. had to go and ask him after 45 mins if it was ready.I had my aunt 93 in a walker mom 79 dad 86 in the room with me. How nic of him to tell me I had to pay for plumber. The next day he called at 12 pm saying we were past check out. I said no we prearranged to stay till 2 or 3 yesterday with clerk he proceded to argue I hung up. He then turned our hydro off in the room. I went to desk and asked what probablem was and to contact 1 800 number or the clerk that was on yesterday and he was screaming at me. who can I send my statement to that care

A weekend in Winkler/Morden

Posted Aug 13, 2012
Pros: Location
Cons: The facility is getting older
Location: It is convient to both Winkler and Morden.
If you need to stay in Morden or Winkler for business or pleasure then the Supper 8 is a great choice. It offers the basic services and the staff are friendly. The rooms were clean.
