Not a pleasant stay

We got our room keys and had them in our hands. (never did they go into a pocket or by anything magnetic) My key card did not work so I went down to the front desk and said one key was not working and asked for them to be re-keyed. No big deal, it happens. However the front desk lady said "OK, I can fix that, but just so you know if your husband put the cards near anything magnetic it will mess the card up." Why not just fix it and not try to blame the customer for it not working?
There is not an elevator, so if you are on the 2nd floor, hopefully you pack light.
The beds were really hard. The toliet refilled a few times during the night, which was loud.
The water in the shower went cold. I was not in there long before it happened. I have never run out of hot water at a hotel!
The breakfast was not good, the sausages were frozen in the middle, the omlets (which I was looking forward to) were gross.
I was not expecting a 5 star hotel, but I thought this hotel would be nicer.
