Nice Hotel

Posted Oct 16, 2016
Pros: Cleanliness, Quietude, Fitness facilities
Cons: Nothing I can think of at this time.
Location: There are a couple mini marts nearby so you can grab a snack or beverage if needed as well as a 24 hour coffee shop across the street.
Just an overnight stay on the way to Portland. Very nice room/hotel. Room was clean and nicely decorated. Although I did not have time to use the fitness room I was delighted to see both free weights and a very nice weight machine as well as the usual cardio equipment. There was only an outside seasonal outside pool but there was an indoor hot tub. The hotel did not have an elevator which was fine for us since we were traveling light so if you are not you may request a first floor room. The room had a comfortable bed which led to a good nights sleep with no outside street traffic or hallway noise. Nice breakfast with more than just the continental offerings such as cheese omelettes and sausage. Will definitely stay here again without hesitation.

Clean, Convenient, Good Breakfast

Posted Jul 11, 2016 on Hotels
We stayed here to attend a three day swim meet. It's a clean, fairly convenient and useful location. This was our third year in a row choosing Best Western for this meet.

Not a pleasant stay

Posted Jun 27, 2016
Pros: The cookies at check in were yummy.
We got our room keys and had them in our hands. (never did they go into a pocket or by anything magnetic) My key card did not work so I went down to the front desk and said one key was not working and asked for them to be re-keyed. No big deal, it happens. However the front desk lady said "OK, I can fix that, but just so you know if your husband put the cards near anything magnetic it will mess the card up." Why not just fix it and not try to blame the customer for it not working? There is not an elevator, so if you are on the 2nd floor, hopefully you pack light. The beds were really hard. The toliet refilled a few times during the night, which was loud. The water in the shower went cold. I was not in there long before it happened. I have never run out of hot water at a hotel! The breakfast was not good, the sausages were frozen in the middle, the omlets (which I was looking forward to) were gross. I was not expecting a 5 star hotel, but I thought this hotel would be nicer.
