This is a recently renovated private cottage on 13 mostly wooded acres, and part of our wine country cottage collection at The Savannah House Wine Country Inn & Cottages. The Sunflower cottage is centrally located to wineries, Keuka and Seneca lakes, and other attractions. Tons of sunlight thru the many windows and glass doors. All new beds, furniture, hot tub, and large smart TV with Wifi. Breathtaking setting. Open floor plan with 3 nice sized bedrooms with queen beds, and 2 full modern bathrooms with showers. 3 electric fireplaces. Huge wrap around deck with awesome views. Partial lake view. Only 9 minutes from marina, beach access, and nearest town with several stores, shops, restaurants, and gas stations - plus a movie theater. In one of the most desirable locations in the Finger Lakes
In cottage massages, private wine tours, kayak and canoe rentals, motor boats, horseback riding, bike rentals, yoga are all available for the asking, and at various costs. Please contact us for any details.

Another Great Stay at Keuka!

This is our second trip to Sunflower Cottage and the location is perfect. Near wineries, markets and the lake, this charming cottage has turned into our go-to spot for a fall getaway!!

Perfect little getaway house

Quaint house that perfectly fit our needs. Beds and pillows were comfy, house was clean, and the hot tub was an added bonus.

Shanty outside, decent inside

The cottage was in sad condition overall on the outside. The yard was overgrown with massive weeds and dead trees everywhere you looked. The porch was dirty and unusable really. Minimal outdoor furniture to utilize and what was there was also dirty. Looked like no one actually cared the yard and deck areas were a mess. Hot tub was ok, too much chlorine was added. The home was clean but lacked in adequate cutlery and cookware. The pots and pans all had flaking Teflon and that's a major disappointment for people who look to rent homes like this to be able to cook for themselves. I'm not asking for upscale, but garbage is another story. Very few of the knives were sharp and we had to rewash all of the silverware. It's rundown, but clean on the inside. Beds were comfortable and rooms very nicely decorated. Upstairs loft is way too hot. The AC didn't work up there and fans didn't do much to help.

Great cottage!

We had a girls weekend, doing some wine tasting on Keuka Lake. Although not on the lake, the house is close to Hammondsport and wineries. We really enjoyed staying here, lots of room for all of us, beds were comfy, and we loved the hot tub! One thing to note, if you’re planning on cooking a meal, it’s better to bring your own pots and pans. The ones in the house are small and very beat up. Only one cutting board too.

Peaceful natural setting.

Totally enjoyed our stay at Sunflower Cottage. Very clean. Comfortable beds. Plenty of towels. Nicely decorated and mostly everything provided. Hot tub a plus. Sitting on deck with the expansive natural setting was heavenly. Didn’t want to leave. A picnic table on the deck to enjoy the beautiful surroundings would have been a plus. Also, insect repellent candles/buckets definitely needed. This, however, did not deter us from having a wonderful family getaway.

Finger lakes vacation

Enjoyed our time at the Sunflower! Spent five days with my husband, adult daughters and dogs. The house was easy to find and central to all of our activities. My dogs appreciated the large yard. Beds were comfortable. I loved all the light from windows and skylights.

Relaxing break.

Everything was nice, the grounds are nice ,the feeling of seclusion was nice. Very nice overall experience. Sitting in the hot tub in the cool morning as the sun lit up the trees.

A perfect spot on the Finger Lakes

This is an absolutely delightful place to stay. The house is well cared for and has great character. It is well equipped with what you need for your stay. The hosts are kind and responsive. It is in the perfect location to enjoy so much of what the Finger Lakes has to offer. We loved that it has a large yard and was quiet and relaxing. The hot tub was an added bonus! We would definitely plan to return here.

Picture Perfect

This was the perfect spot to wind down and relax. It is close to the many wonderful vineyards in the area and to hiking and nature. The owners were wonderful to work with.

Keuka Wine Trip

We had a very nice stay at the vrbo. It was very cozy. We enjoyed the fire pit. We had a small interuption with the wifi, but that was resolved the next day. We liked walking through the wooded areas. Unfortunately, there were many ticks in the overly wooded areas, but we were able to deal with them to get rid of them.

Great Stay in the Finger Lakes!

Wonderful cottage near wineries, breweries and close to Keuka and Seneca Lakes. Our host suggested great places to visit during our stay snd made the check in process easy. The cottage was clean and cozy.

Great location

Cleanliness of property -First outside impression was disappointing, uneven steps,overgrown, in need of some cosmetics and a squirrel or other rodent had been in the breaker box-Not what I expected from the 5 star reviews or a premier host.However, looking back through the photos of the property, other than the lake not being in view - they are accurate, the write up on the listing was not the most accurate but I did receive an email that there were updates made after I spoke to the property owner. The inside was spacious and the bedrooms are beautifully decorated. Lawn furniture in the living room was disappointing but again looking through the photos they are accurate. Check in process was easy and the property owner was communicative with me throughout the stay regarding the concerns and disappointments. The location was perfect for what we wanted to do in the area.

Clean, comfortable. relaxed. Hot tub was great. well kept. internet was sketchy and mostly didnt work. No lake view. more of a wooded view 1/8 mile from lake. But if you are visiting wineries its the perfect crash spot. has anout 6 dead trees on properly so could use some outdoor maintenance. unable to check in early but that is stated. inflexible but were left alone. we would def stay there again.

Nice property - read all rules

Lots of rules to follow if you are staying at this property. I would say they allow pets but not that they are pet friendly. No pets on furniture and dogs must be crated when you are not at the property with your dogs. Fees are really high for cleaning and bringing your pets. I would advise you to read everything very carefully and I did not see all the restrictions about having my dogs until after we had paid both payments for our vacation.
